This method Im actually putting out there to see what you guys think of it. Would something like this work well?

Objective to sell ad space on a YT video to a Law Firm (for example)

Produce a generic video using animoto. In the animation text of the video put blurbs like
"these guys work to get you the cash you deserve" "dont pay unless they win your case" "top lawyers in the city" blah, blah, blah...

Put views on the video daily using vagex or something to show that the video is getting a lot of views.

Approach law firms telling them that you can put their law firms url in the YT description and the video is getting views like crazy. I think they would bite. Any thoughts?

PS. The vid wouldnt even have to rank high in google. As long as you can show them that the video is getting views you should be good.

I do this all the time I make videos for companies and rank them for city based keywords. in my experience you cannot screw over big companies, after 1 month and no sales they will cancel the deal, rather learn how to rank videos and make real money and make the client happy, video marketing can make you a fortune, but lying to the client or conning them will just give you a bad name.

Do you get first page ranking? If so, is it on YT and Google or just first page on YT?

ironically its easier for me to rank on google than youtube, i am often able to get to the first page in a week, this is simply because of the backlinking strategy i use on the videos. i will usually give them a blast of views likes and favs for starting once its on the first page for that keyword. I will show the client and then its fine. from experience i know that you want to try and build lasting relationships that bring more business. but local keywords are not too hard to rank.so this makes it much easier.

Yeah faking video views is going to catch up sooner or later. Build A generic video rank it and get paid.
