this is common knowledge. also, youtube updates about once every 24 - 48 hours

what does youtube update in this time schedule .. views ? not possible i have seen frequent updates a day when i started looking for views.

I believe the blocks only exist if your views jump. But here's the thing about views. They will never be accurate. If you look at the views with let's say 5000 views and look at the analytics, they are never the same. Just expect delays in days.

But otherwise YouTube is a profitable I'm strategy when done right.

Yeah...as others have posted, this pretty common knowledge (read a bit, bro, before posting). Your views will stall at various stages as YT determines whether or not your views are 'legit'. More often than not, most of them will count. But, if all of your views are coming from a service like Enhance Views (or Vagex or u2bviews, for that matter), you're likely to stay frozen. Try to be sure to get some organic, real views mixed in there too.

Just search the forum here for "You Tube Views Stuck", "View Counter Stuck" and things of that nature you'll find countless threads about this featuring solutions, etc.

It just takes time, its like google and page ranking, youtube takes time to update their view count servers to the actual video to check for spam/fake views (or so they think :P)

i mean that your video will probably get frozen at 300 views, 600 views, 900 views, and sometimes even 1,200 views. this is normal for most videos. the y0utube bot freezes your video at these 4 check points to check your traffic and check your views.

yes, youtube updates views in this time schedule. sometimes every 12 hours. but your video will obviously update more frequently once you get passed all the blocks. higher traffic videos probably update more frequently. but yes, you are correct, sometimes there are frequent updates a day for views. youtube is strange

I have been in the YouTube biz for a long time, and never have I heard about any other block than the 300, and the old 100K to get on frontpage one. You're just making stuff up buddy.

Why doesn't youtube just fix this. Its like a freaking bug, every time a video gets huge popularity and views it gets stuck. Its pretty annoying. Because the like and dislike system is updated just fine.

It's not a bug, it's a way for them to have time to filter out the fake views and the real views. I agree that they should filter dislikes too, but views is the ones that actually pay.

why would i make that up? i am not profiting from the "lie" so i have no reason to make this up. some other members here in the forum also said the same thing. these 4 blocks literally did happen to a few of my videos and i check my views frequently. i guess the algorithm is different sometimes for different videos

It's like this: 0-301 is realtime, 301 is freeze, then after that every 24 it updates. Those 24 hours are aproximate so sometimes they feel like a freeze, but they are not.

If a higher ratio of your videos views come from UNKNOWN SOURCES instead of known sources like facebook, twitter, google, stumbleupon, eazysubs, etc, your video may be flagged and the spam filter won't count those bogus sources anymore. That's why I get pissed off when people read the YouTube counter and claim that they delivered the views when in reality they use deferrers to mask the real view source and those sources become blacklisted. At the end of it all, they just count your own organic views.

When I actually think about it, they did have 2 freezes before, 1 for 301, and 1 for frontpage. Let's say frontpage videos got 250K views... in order for your video to replace one of them, they checked it a lot with heavy filters, which most of the time failed due to the mobile trick. That was before the design update though.
