Although I was a member of this forum since summer, I haven't really had a chance to sit down and decide what to do. Only recently did I discover Youtube + Adsense. My goals were $4.00/day. My next goal is $10.00/day. I started Christmas Day. With afew errors, its been almost but not quite a month and I'm amazed by what simple videos can generate views. Keep in mind my investment is $0.00. I refuse to pay for views atm.

So its 1:45 pm, (2 am day ends according to adsense), and for the FIRST TIME i broke $50.00 in 1 day. I thought my $27.00 would be impossible to break yesterday but wow. $50.00 by midday!

What are your niches that you are working with? How many videos do you have? How does videos and Adsense work together?

You should always work on scaling up
Never give away your niche to beggars (obvious)

Im just using adsense and youtube and blogger atm. But I plan to add afew cpa sometime. Currently my CPA testing has been a MISERABLE fail. But my adsense has not.

No I wont be breaking any rules with adsense and youtube. I do wonder though what happens if I buy views and such. Why did you get banned if you had a good niche?

I've never used YouTube for IM purposes, this is encouraging.

Did you create an original video, or did you just rip n' twist an existing one? I'm just curious as to the thought process of people who target YouTube.

it is encouraging because of 1 thing that I realized just before Christmas day. Everytime I look at Youtube videos, I saw 1 thing. An Advertisement popup.

Reading this forum, I knew the money went somewhere. Where? not to me. Why not to me? So I just make a twist on my niche and voila...people started looking. Here's the one thing people dont realize. Network network...network. There cant be enough networking. A viral video becomes viral because of someone promoting it.

So, I just promote my own video. Analytics is my friend... and thats how I take a video from 11 views to 3000 in a day. Once it hits 3000 with enough networking, others do the work for you.

Worry about the promotion, clicks will come. Yes I had 15000 views today and afew hundred clicks. My main concern is how to convert that 15000 views to 50000 views. If I can get 50000 views, the clicks will come.

Don't know, it could be due ads placement on my page. I had one big block below the page title. CTR was 10%

Great job, man. I've been preaching success with YT/AdSense in the forum for quite some time. I think it's an often overlooked source of income. I've done very well with this. I do think it's worth noting, though, that building a substantial AdSense/YT income takes time and a lot of members here give up too quick. When I began with it, YT was just a side project that I worked on in my spare time while focusing on bigger/affiliate marketing projects (building sites and blogs, etc). I began to see a few hundred bucks spill in from AdSense after a few months - directly from YT. I scaled up and built more channels and eventually saw over 1K per month, etc.

Now, I have numerous YT accounts/channels, all in various niches, all bringing in bits of cash per month. It really adds up if you have the time to dedicate to it.

You have to pick untapped niches on YT (they are out there - you just have to get creative and turn over stones others haven't thought of; i.e. - don't waste your time trying to capitalize on pop music, gaming, etc - find something unique. Even a few views per week can add up if you have enough videos and channels going at once).

Congrats to you for discovering an often overlooked $$ generating method here on BHW!

Yeah I thought that but I didnt pay for any services and dont intend to. Heres something funny though. This is my first month and I've got afew account monetized.

People are always saying be careful of my page Click through rate. Today's its high at 4.5%. But other days like yesterday, i had 15000 views and my ctr was .70. It'll average out to less than 2 percent I figure. But 2 percent ctr of a crapload of views and a decent cost per click = decent revenue. Like I said, my goal is $4.00/day (reached for whole month now). My next goal is to average it at $10.00 (which at the rate of the last 3 days, i will break). After that, its a $20.00/goal.

Quick question, I am sure just copying and posting other users videos is bad form/against TOS BUT what if you add content to that video.

Example, you copy a good football play from someone elses channel but you (as a would be coach) add text breaking down the play and adding value to it?

Anyone with thoughts on this?

I have a particular knowledge base and can break down videos on a particular niche but dont have vidoes of my own.

I remember some time ago that I did the Sedo/YT method. Sedo is domain parking that shares the revenue from the adsense ads. I bought an adult domain name and started to upload sexy videos to YT with my domain url in the video. Sedo has a great landing page even for adult domains. It was easy money but by the third month I was banned.

I never understood why this happened because It was real traffic and I was pretty sure It was converting on the dating sites link in the landing page. Be careful with anything related to adsense. They ban just for breeding.

no thats still copyright infringement. What I am doing doesnt involve copyright infringement. The key to my success is analytics. I use analytics and networking to produce traffic. All I do is network using my information from my gathered analytics and basically say to people, watch this video. Its always up to them to watch it.

Like I said, I worry more trying to get 15000 views to 50000 views. I dont worry about the clicks. Those will come. My Click through Rate (CTR) is garbage some days. But on days like today, my CTR is decent and with over 22000 views, it makes up for the numbers. And so far, at 7pm (Day ends at 2am) im over $75.00

I bet you could probably buy views or use websites to get views at first and don't have your adsense activated. Then when it takes off you can activate your adsense and not use those services and be legit.

One of your primary problems here may be your niche. Gameplay videos are very oversaturated. It's really tough to get noticed unless you do something very unique. I'd recommend looking into something else on YT that's not quite as overloaded. You'll see money start to trickle in if you find the right category.

Keep in mind that most major niches are already full on YT. Dig deep. Think of micro-niche topics and you'll score.

There are several ways to produce videos with little or no investment. You can use Windows Movie Maker (but practice with this first - don't upload shitty videos or you'll be in for a storm of 'dislikes'). I recommend Animoto (the PRO version) for slideshow type videos. Animoto offers the additional option of upgrading your videos to HD, up to 10 mins in length and the videos look great. There are several other free/paid services available online to make slideshow videos. To produce more intricate stuff, you'll need to become proficient with more complicated video editing software.

What Inetpub is doing is capitalizing on the Adsense ads placed within his videos. It's the same as building a site, adding Adense, someone clicks on those ads and you make money. Think of the video as the website, the Adsense ad that appears in his video as the Adsense banner on that site. We're talking about those ads that pop up about 10 seconds in on a video you're watching (at the bottom of the video screen) and the ads to your right above the 'similar videos'.

Actually, I respectfully disagree. He's right. You can use copyrighted content in this way as long as you're using your own spin on it (as he described sounds perfectly legit to me). You're only likely to see your video blocked if someone flags you. Regular YT viewers aren't generally going to do this. He'd have to be visited by someone from CBS Sports or the NFL that might then flag him. But, truth is, they're not policing this stuff. Unless his channel blew up - and let's face it, most of us aren't going to achieve Ray William Johnson status in our chosen niches. So, I think he's cool.

This isn't a bad plan but I typically recommend allowing the views to grow organically to get them quickly monetized. You can do this pretty effectively by registering at various forums related to your niche and embedding the videos there (or just placing links to your videos). If the videos are genuinely interesting to your audience, they'll pass your videos around and you'll see your views grow pretty quickly. Vagex and services like that are good to jump start something but they're becoming less and less effective when it comes to get monetization status on your channel.

See answer above to a similar question. For best practices, you shouldn't direct your viewers to click on your ads. It will happen naturally, over time.

Congrats! The same happened to me. Over time, I saw that I was making over 1K per month with my accounts/channels. It took longer than you! I can't live off my Adsense income alone but, like you, for me it's just extra cash that I add to my other IM money - which I do live off of.

The thing to keep in mind is that YT videos can swing either way. For example, I have channels that are still making me money a year after the fact. Others (are more topical events) will die over time. I just recently produced a tribute to the late, great R&B singer Etta James, for example. I've seen a huge surge in views and a big spike in Adsense revenues. But, this will pass and that video will eventually level out to next to nothing. The same applies to gameplay videos for "hot" games - they will eventually not be as hot. Personally, I just produce videos whenever I find time just to keep the channels alive and the videos hot. I'd say now that I have 100s of accounts up and running, I produce maybe 5 videos a week. Some channels I don't update for a month. It just depends on how the income's going that month.

Keep it up, man! Build more accounts, more channels, more niches and you'll have that 3rd car before you know it!!
