Are view counts on your Video Page updating normal for you?

Please stop making threads like this, obviously YouTube are going through their "fake views fake views!" stage, the views'll turn up in a few days.

Last couple of weeks YouTube has been delaying their video views count on the video page. You can usually see updated accurate stats if you go click the Stats button on your video.

Yeah, over the last week or so they've been delaying their updates to the video page. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one noticing.

you are incorrect my friend. "big youtubers" videos are also frozen. just poke around. you will see for yourself. many videos on the front page are frozen, and the same goes for videos that are in the browse section.

Huh that's quite odd. I wonder why this is happening. Glad to see views still count towards everything else. It's not really a big problem if it doesn't show the right view count. I will survive for a bit. Hope they fix the problem soon though.

nah, it's probably 'cause some devs on the views team are working on some sort of new algorithm or method and fucked it up and since youtube only does site changes every few days it takes a few days for them to refix.

The difference is that Shanes will be unfrozen within a day most prob, whereas ours can take 3-4 days. Theirs are freezing for longer as well but it seems their's are updating faster than ours, as always.

Well if they fuck over legitamite users as well, it means their system is simply inefficient. Weak shit.

There is nothing wrong with Youtube. It is just that your video now freezes AT ANY POINT, so the video may even freeze at 1 million, 10 million, heck Justin Bieber's baby may also be at risk of video freezing.

The good thing is that you normally only have to wait around 36 hours, quite short considering that it will take at least 3-10 days to defreeze your vid.
