Does anyone know if you can post amazon link sin youtube descriptions or do you need to do a redirect?

what is the best way not to get banned from either.

I'd say create your own dummy blog with real links to your amazon link then use CPA redirector to spoof links from youtube to amazon.

Youtube -> Blog CPA redirector -> Amazon

This is especially if your videos are not related with the product you're promoting with Amazon. For instance, uploading an unrelated viral funny video with an Amazon link has a high risk of getting banned from Amazon.

I think its OK to put amazon link in video description. I have more than 1500 slide show amazon product videos on youtube.

I am having around 1000 product videos in youtube about amazon, conversion is 1000 videos brings in more than 50 sales a month, with earnings around $300-$600.
Regarding banning i have been banned in youtube that account had 150 videos and i was banned after 8 months from creating the account, reason is music copyright, which is the one main thing that you need to look for

Not too good convert. Only 1-5%. I get about 500 visitors everyday to amazon. I agree with hocuspocus32. Music is one problem in my project. So i make many accounts and load 15-20 vids per account. One account get banned, I change the music and reupload. I use animoto and onetruemedia to create video. This is my screenshot

No, I made videos by myself

I usually do 1 niche for 1 account. And I made video for all produsct as long as the product is good to promote. I choose $150 and up products and the products get 3.5 of star and up. I never buy any views service. I keep them natural

Amazon is clear on their TOS... the click has to originate from your site..
that means the person has to be on your site and click on your link....
a random link on some youtube video is exactly what they do not want.

they do not want 1000s of affiliates spamming their links all over the place.

they will ban you..... sooner or later....

you can make a lot of money doing it the legit way..

You have the link that explain this?

If amazon doesnt allow to put affiliate link in video description, it wont stop people selling amazon product by uploading many videos on youtube.

I am not sure about this

Amazon always give warnings via email if an affiliate violates the TOS before they suspend an affiliate account. They give a few days. As long as affiliate does not ignore this warning, amazon affiliate account will not get banned.

Hi guys

I have a problem with adding my amazon associate ifarme product links in the youtube description. Youtube throws an error and doesn't accept the link. With iframe, they dont begin with hypertext protocol. I want to use the amazon link direct and not tinyurl for instance.

Thanks in advance :)

I cannot add Amazon associate product links in the youtube video descriptions. The links are iframe and youtube needs http. How do I get around this issue?

Thank you!

I can say from personal experience, that I did not get any warning before I had an Amazon account terminated. But if you use blackhat techniques, then don't be surprised if you get terminated without warning and lose your earnings.

The next day I started over (giving up on the method that was making most of my sales) and have been playing it straight.

There are 2 Problems if want to promote Amazon Via Youtube:

1. If you make Slideshow and use "COPYRIGHTED IMAGES" and if the owner of the images finds out, your account will be disable by Youtube.

2. "MUSIC" Maybe this is the common Problem. You Must HAve Permission To Use The Music On Your Video From The Composer.

SOLUTION:

1. For Copyrighted Image, you can ADVANCED SEARCH On Google Image and Search For The Images With RE-USE License. SO You can Use it In Your SlideShow Video On Youtube.

2. MUSIC, This is Very Easy. Don't Put Any Music On Your Video When You're Upload it to Youtube. After The Video Uploaded, You Can Edit The Video and Click "AUDIO SWAP". AUDIO SWAP Lets You Put Music On The List Which You Can Free to Use It in your Video, This Music is Provided By Youtube and You Dont Have To Worry About The License Anymore.

If Your Using Copyrighted Images on Your SlideShow, there's One Trick You Can do :

1. One way to avoid copyright issues when doing something like this is to post in the description something like this.

"i do not own, nor claim ownership of any images used in this slide show. all credit for the images or photography go to their rightful owners."

I Have Around 135 Videos On Youtube and Make Around $250 A Month But My Account Has Been Disabled By Youtube Before I Find Out The Points i describe Above.

Just my 2 Cents, Hope This Will Help :)

Cheers..

If you look closely at youtube videos. There are many pepole who uses redirect and link directly to Amazon. I'm sure some gets caught, some doesn't.
But if you look at review videos with the most view counts, most of them link to their own site first.
Blackhat = chance to get your amazon account screwed.
Legit = long term win.
Whether to take a risk or not - it's up to you.
