My experience using YT Advertiser on Xsserver VPS

I've been using Xsserver VPS (2.60 Ghz CPU and 1 Gig of Ram) with SB, Xrumer and Senuke X for several month and I don't have encountered any problem.

However, using YT Advertiser I noticed that if I use more than 1 thread the window of the program becomes blank and it takes about 12 hours to upload 300 videos of about 1-2 Megabytes each one.

I read in another thread that Arby said that other YTA customers had problem using it on Xsserver, so can anyone share their experience? Is there a way to fix this or do I need to change my VPS provider to have YTA run to its full power? Can it be just that the hardware of my VPS isn't powerful enough (although since it runs Senuke and Xrumer without problems with multiple threads this don't seem the case)?

At this stage I'm still experimenting with Youtube marketing so I'm still ok with uploading few videos, but as long as I run into a profitable campaign I'm going to scale it up hugely...thus, I'd love to know in advance the best VPS/server provider to be able to upload say 2000 videos per hour.

12 hours to upload 300 2MB videos is just way too long. How many threads are you using? If you're looking to upload 2000 videos an hour, you need to run YTA at 100 threads, at least.

Yeah I'd love to know more about other experiences with xsserver as well. Most problems I have encountered with their VPS is .net framework related. But that is easily resolved just by removing all installed .net framework and re-installing v3.5 (You can then upgrade to 4.0 if your other applications need it).

With other tests, I found out that their speed gets very slow at peak hours possibly because of all the people using xrumer and senuke.

I would also recommend using a third party utility to track upload speeds. I have one installed in my office computer. I forgot the name but I'll post back here once I get to my office.

I'm guessing the low upload rate is caused by low threads and possibly low VPS speed.

go to task manager
and click resource monitor

see if something is running near 100%

how to you get so many videos not the be deleted by yt

I tryed uploading about 500 a day but loose all my yt accounts
 
i use thrustvps because theyre cheap =) havent ran into any major problems using yta on it.. windows 2008 server r2, 1.5gb of ram. the upload dl speed isnt that fast though, around 20mb dl and 20mb upload is what i get.. but its plenty fast enough to get a couple hundred videos in couple hours.

FYI I am testing mochahost --- it is un metered - no bandwith cap
(I am not using YT Advertiser as yet)


but am uploading yt videos --- and I am having problems with yt deleting accounts

I did different tests and it takes that much time in single thread, two threads or five threads...what could the problem be?

I'm not running any other program when YTA is uploading. As I said in the OP, I use the 35$ monthly VPS (2.60 Ghz CPU and 1 Gig of Ram).

I'd love to know a good alternative, keep us updated! In the meantime, I'll try to reinstall .net framework.

Seems like the main pipe is jammed since they offer unmetered bandwidth, so I guess at peak times they choke up the entire 100Meg Bandiwdth.

you're probably uploading too many videos, either per ip or per account. But it can also be from crappy yt account providers

This is somewhat unrelated to the topic but please bear with me.

Banned accounts are caused by a lot of factors. It may be because of the accounts supplier, lack of proxies OR flagged proxies, copyrighted content, competitor flags, etc. I recently found out they take will take down a lot of accounts with certain links in the description (Still testing).

Most of the time, it's because of the accounts you are using. Try manually creating a few accounts from your own ip address and use it with YTA. You'll see a big difference.

But manually creating accounts is a tedious task. I once created 50 accounts manually and I felt like I was dying after I was done with it. To address this concern, we have developed an automatic, multithreaded YT account creator using adwords as a bridge to bypass SMS verification. Currently, I have been able to create 250 accounts in 5 minutes with 25 threads. This software should be available to the market in 1-2 days. (Sorry, I didn't mean to promote another product). Anyway, since I'm using my own proxies to create accounts and verify them, they last longer. Not to mention it's cost effective too.

Please let us know how it goes. When I was starting out, I got a hosting package from them. And then one day they just disabled my hosting for using too much bandwidth. So I guess there really is no such ting as "unlimited bandwidth". This is ofcourse different from their VPS package but I personally don't like how they do business.

Bandwidth is not a problem. if you could upload TB a month then your profits should be well enough to afford more bandwidth if not then you dont belong in this game.

I must disagree with the principle, not the point. Yeah it's true that you can afford a lot of bandwidth with the money you're making.. but that doesn't make it a feasible and sound business decision. Why would you pay more for bandwidth when another company is offering a better service for a lot less? Even if it's just a small $100 difference every month, that's still $1,200 taken from your profit at the end of the fiscal year. I don't know about you, but I can buy a lot of stuff with that $1,200 difference.

This "game" is played by a lot of players. The ones who really make it to the top are those people that use their intelligence in detail on all marketing strategies and business decisions. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there, and you have to make your every cent count.

If you're running YTA on a VPS, I would suggest using atleast 30 threads. You'll need more than 30 accounts as well. I can give you 50 accounts to test with at 30 threads using the same setup (1-2mb video files). Let me know if you need those accounts.

Hey Arby,

yes, send me the accounts and I'll give it a try, thanks. I have 12 private proxies, do you think it's ok to do 30 simultaneous uploads using 1 proxy for every 3 accounts?

The thing is, I'm not a programmer, but seeing that while using YTA even on single thread the CPU goes on 100%, couldn't be that the program is slow because the VPS hardware isn't powerful enough?
 
i used a vps on xsserver with 10 threads np & uploaded 100 within 40 mins although was probaly non peak hours as I'm in the uk.
 
Thanx for reviewing YT Advertiser, i was planning on buying it but will think a litlle bit more before doing so.

Yep, I confirm this. My topic wasn't at all an attack to the software itself, I was just trying to understand why my VPS is underperforming with it. In fact, despite the slow uploading, I found the software very useful and I can see its great potential if used to its full power.

Beside, ArbyDee, the creator, as you can see chimed in quickly to help, even offering free accounts to help me in testing and solve the problem. This in my book is top notch support, and I just can't wait for the YT account creator he was talking about...if you need some beta tester, count me in!

Sent you a pm with the accounts. If you only have 12 proxies, I would only recommend running YTA at 24 threads, just to be safe.

As for the cpu on 100%, yes it might be because the hardware isn't good enough to support YTA. That makes sense since you said in your OP that YTA goes blank. Have you tried testing it in different hours?

I know you already know this but for the sake of others reading this thread, I'll explain what might be causing this.

A VPS is like a sub server built inside one main/dedicated server. A single dedicated server can have 100 or more VPS servers. So all VPS servers share the resources of that main dedicated server.

Xsserver is known for hosting blackhat programs like senuke and xrumer which hogs computer resources. So if you're sharing that server with 99 other people who are using xrumer, scrapebox and senuke 24/7, you'll get poor results.

I'm not quite ready sharing the results yet since I'm testing them extensively. I'm uncomfortable recommending a service unless I am 100% certain they can do the job. I hope you understand. Nevertheless, I'll let you guys know in a few days :)

I've been receiving a lot of PM's regarding the Youtube account creator. Once it's ready, I'll try to open a BST thread here so you all get discounts.

I'm still tweaking it. Yesterday I tried to create 10,000 youtube accounts just to test youtube limits. The software finished it in about 2 1/2 hours. Pretty good results, but I'd still like to monitor the longevity of the accounts before releasing the software to the public.

So it sounds like you are going to well it separately? It would be great if you add it into YTA, maybe have a limit to the number of accounts the user can make a month?
 
Hi arbydee,

Can the single license be transferred to a different computer and how many
e.g. scrapebox allows one free license transfer in a month.

this is important coz i may need to change my VPS provider and i can not run this tool from my home connection.
