I was making youtube videos starting April 8th. I would upload 10 videos every 2 day. I logged in today and my account was suspended without any notice.

I only had my url at the last 5 seconds of the video. And my videos ran 1:30-2:00 minutes long each. I also had my redirect url in the description.

My question is has this happened to anyone else? Should I open up a new account and start again and will those videos be detected as coming from a canceled account? Or open up maybe 4 accounts with 25 videos each since I was going to stop at 100 videos. Thanks.

In my experience 100 vids is way too many for an account. You need lots of accounts with way fewer vids per account.

look to see if there was a notice issued to the email hooked up to the account

I had one account where I uploaded some "waste time" type videos, but the vids I scraped were overlayed with some song, so they got closed for copyright - thought they were shut down for too much activity, but turns out not so.

Do you think 25 per account is still too much?

All my videos had the website as the images and a voiced review of the product. I check the email and didn't get any notice.

You need to get a whole bunch of accounts and proxies and upload different amounts of vids to each one, to see what the ban threshold is for your particular style of vids / niche / uploading method etc. No one can tell you exactly what the safe number is because it seems to vary from person to person / niche etc. But I will say that my own safe number is lower than 25.

Don't worry about "one" account banned. Keep creating new ones with proxies and you'll be fine. I've been creating a heavy uploading farm and doing just great. HTH.

I can't stand the way these huge organizations try to keep people from making a little profit. What's the word.....monopoly?

Strange. Only thing I can think is that they looked too commercial, what with being images and not real moving video.

It's their site and they can do whatever they want. I think that it's good that they ban people -- The same thing goes for CL. Imagine if these sites were overrun by spammers? The profitability would go down and they would all be like backpage with 90% of the users spammers.

Maybe someone reported you or more likely multiple people reported your videos. It takes a while to get banned like that.

Yea, maybe someone who was doing the same product review reported me. I do have the same videos under 4 more sites with no issues and only 1 account.

I think my new plan is to setup 4 more accounts on youtube but divide them into niches as best I can. Maybe youtube didn't like a video review of the magic of making up mixed in with magic article rewriter or jamorama.

i have 4 accounts with 50 on each, i do my own content , i dont do pics or song due to copy write. best way... and my blog is doing fine too.

Definitely stick to one niche per channel. Looks better that way.

And try putting some real people (like you!) in at least some of your videos!

So if I stick to 1 niche for each 4 accounts using proxies should I also not use the same url to 301 redirect? Will youtube really notice that?

I say that since for SEO its better to my keyword in the description:

ex: mysite dot com /jamorama

and not just a bit.ly link.

And if I go to re-upload the same videos will youtube know that?

Geeez... I have several accounts that are pushing 100 videos each... they are all the EXACT same video, the only thing different is that I vary the length (and titles/keywords) so that there aren't too many of them with the exact same time length.

Maybe I've just been lucky... I guess its time to start adding a lot of new accounts!!! Although I've seen some accounts that have over 1500 hundred video's on it!

Just because you can (sometimes) get an account with hundreds of videos to stick, that doesn't mean you should. You're just asking for trouble: you're putting a huge target on your back for complaints and the spam team, and you're guaranteeing that when your account inevitably gets canned (even if it takes few months) that it's going to hurt.

Lots of under the radar accounts is the only solution for long term Youtube income IMHO. Channels with only a handful of vids on them generally last pretty much forever (not withstanding silly mistakes during account creation, copyrighted pop songs etc). Yes, getting the accounts is a pain, but it's just part of the game.

It's exactly the same as spamming SEs: a whole cloud of little sites will last much longer and ultimately make more money than one big site that does well and then crashes and burns, even though the many-sites option takes more effort and resources to set up.

Here's my thoughts on this, just like with TA, and other programs like that... If you're using a different proxy every time you up a video, to me that seems like it'd be an ultimate flag raiser.

Say I was YT, it's as easy as making a logical function such as:
if (More than one IP uploading this many videos under one account?) then: definite spam

The secret is to be as natural as possible, while still automating the process (if you must).

It's that easy. I promise. There's not one normal person on this earth that would upload 90 videos in 18 days... That's 5, 2-3min videos a day. That're similar in some way, I guarantee it.

In a world where you have small-time creating such products that can LEARN to read tricky pictures such as captcha's you should have the mindset that a company like Google experiments with anything that can give them statistics, that they know everything they need to know about what separates a friend from a foe.

Most are just doing what everyone else is doing, instead of copying that, learn from it and EARN man. Don't SPAM, be natural. If you can't figure it out from there you're royally fucked in this business. If you're going to make money from this, INVEST in it, you can buy youtube accounts for really cheap. 1 video/account is about as natural as you can get.
