I am looking for a program to convert my FRAPS videos to a smaller size, right now I have been using Windows Movie Maker to compress the files. Since I have a bunch of files to convert I was looking for an alternative which I could convert multiple files and stumbled across E.M. Total Video Converter. This software was just what I was looking for it could convert multiple video files and was easy to use great my first two videos converted fine. Then a video converts all the way to 100% and I check on the video file and it is 0kb.. I try it again video comes out fine.. this is continuing off and on sometimes the files will convert sometimes they wont, but every time it spends time converting the file and once one fails the rest of the list will fail also. Another problem I am having is lines in the videos sometimes they show up sometimes they don't sometimes bad sometimes not as noticeable all on the same video I tested out. However this converter is converting videos quicker & smaller file size (when they work) then Windows Movie Maker and the color is a lot crisper and not as dual as Windows Movie Maker.

That brings me to my question, what video converting/compressing software are you guys using for FRAPS besides WMM and Total Video Converter. If someone can recommend me a new program that is quality and will shrink my videos down to size while keeping the colors sharp I will have no problem throwing around a few Rep points as a big thank you because I could really use some new software ATM. Thanks in advance I look forward to your posts, don't feel shy about contributing to this thread you could help many of the people that are experiencing the same problem.

Camtasia Studio

It allows you to export Videos in Multiple Formats Including HD 720p & 1080p. Takes Much less time to Render Output and also utilizes all threads in your Processor Core(s).

Thanks for recommending Camtasia Studio, I already have this program just overlooked it as I was using it as an alternative recorder, it seems the colors dual out a little in this to compared to Total Video Converter, can you please tell me what I can do to improve the color quality (bright colors like lime green darken).. also what would you recommend for uploading video to youtube wmv mp4/flv or avi.

If it helps I am trying to compress video game files and they are 1080p with the recommended "Camtasia Studio Best Quality and File size" profile

Im a big fan of Sony Vegas, use it quite often. Nice piece of kit and you can find torrents for it no problem.

It should be able to do almost anything you want when it comes to rendering videos.

Sorry can't give you REP at the moment bezopravin, it says I have to spread it out a bit.. must have gave you REP on my last question.
