Quick Question

Im very new to YouTube, and i was just wondering if this would be illegal.

I have a video, and in this video there are numerous songs. Would i be able to put download links into the description, and monetize those links with Adfly, linkbucks, or any other pay per click site?

The worst that will happen is YouTube will content match your video and it'll be blocked for viewing, depending on the copyright owner's terms. Since it's a compilation of songs, you will most likely have a better chance of going under the radar.

Its not illegal, don't worry.
