Default Youtube truncating videos?

Did a search and it came up blank.

Any vid that I upload to youtube with a ending bumper that is say 5 seconds gets cut down into 1 second every single time (just the bumper), the rest of the video is fine. I am encoding a wmv with camtasia. Vid plays fine but youtube seems to truncate it. Btw its a flat jpg image that i am adding as a 'title clip' in camtasia for the ending. Any ideas?

cheers,

Um.... Don't do it that way? If it's broke, fix it.

try a 10 sec ending like that, maybe then it will be the 5 sec you wanted it to be before

Tried that as well, cut it down to 1 second as well. If I output to flv format via camtasia they work fine, but i was specifically wondering about wmvs and why it truncates them.

You can use M$ Movie Maker to add an animated credit to the end of the video. If you're running XP or Vista (it's included with those OS's)

Could be youtube's system noticing that there's something at the end that is not moving.. Try to replace your final 5 seconds with something that moves..
