Default Why Do Videos Have Initial Viewing Spike And Then Cool Down?

I see that the most views my videos get just when they are uploaded, but after that visits are not that frequent anymore. Why is that so?

Because many users search for their keyword and then search by "date added". Same thing happens to me. It's frustrating.

I see, but if I still have large quantity of videos added daily, the chances are I will be getting steady traffic as long as there are lots of videos and they stay on yotube, right?

I would thinks so. Just make sure your keywords are good and upload a shit-ton of videos. I've got about 10 YouTube accounts I add to.

My theory is that people often browse the 'Most Recent' section.

Of course it is because of the 'most recent', so you will either have to then get a lot of viewers by giving link out, bots, or a lot of comments.

The beginning gets a good amount, then you go in a down slope(when you have to work the hardest), then you bring yourself up and its like automation again(but that can take a very long time.)

Damn, so what you suggest is better? Uploading tons of videos and leaving them to grow on their own or uploading a few videos and using automator tools on them?

Interesting...it would seem that you would need to upload a continuous stream of new videos every few days....I'm seeing the exact same things with my vids....at first i was getting LOTS of traffic and lots of signup to my sites..then after about a week....they all a sudden cease. I think we just figured out the best thing to do .....keep adding fresh videos every few days.....use tubeincreaser on the videos....after about 2 days...rinse and repeat....i'm gonna start doing that right now...and i'll let you know how i fair.

Ok, but how is your strategy with adding videos every few days doing so far? In matter of sales and conversions? Do your old videos still get views or little to nothing? I mean, is it worth to just upload upload upload, and then hope that after a month the total sum of all video views together will be enough to get good conversions and decent income? Of course you always have the chance of one video becoming viral but that's a whole different story. Also, do fake views really help in terms of views? Does the video get better ratings or people just like to view popular vids more? Because I've heard you need not only views but comments+ratings to get a video popular, and that is far more difficult.

You are right that videos need more than just views to be popular. But what i've noticed with my videos at least...when i first upload them...and place lots of views on them...say 20k in a day using tube increaser.....I gets lots of hits and conversions......but after about a week...everything dies down. So i'm assuming that the recently uploaded query is what most users are using........My video is not of the "viral" type...but it does get conversions when people see it.
