Youtubes gives a boost to your video?

I'm not a youtube marketer.. Although I had a interesting idea. People use bots for what ever reason but can't seem to get it to work. Doesn't youtube give a boost to a new video?

Example: I upload the video, tags/description/thumbnail. I leave it as is.. Obviously they indexed the video for the keywords and description.

My question is: where do they set the video? page 1 page 2?

Anybody can shine some light on this that would be great.

all depends on saturation of the keyword targeted

I know yahoo videos usually puts the new videos at the top but it depends on youtube I believe.

it's based on relevance(title, keywords, description..etc) I guess

yes,new videos always get a boost. Upload a video and do not do anything, and it will automatically gain some views.

I have uploaded a video with a black thumbnail, no relevant tags, titles said just"1" and description the same, and it still got some views.
