what do you guys use to edit/upload videos on youtube? i've got the adobe premire and stuff....but i haven't used it. what do you guys use to edit and watermark your vids too?
just wondering from the youtube marketers out there
If you want to be more finesse you could use Premiere and Effects, working with videos and layers from Photoshop. It might be a bit overkill or confusing if you're not used to it.

thanks, you know usually i do search for stuff....but it was late last night
as for Premier and Effects, hell....i spent 3 days downloading the Adobe suite....might as well learn how to use them.
Try windows movie maker or if you want to make first class unique video with watermark and sound, try sony vegas. I was making 5 vids for a day - but they were really really good.
I use Sony Vegas Pro 8 to edit videos before I upload them to you tube. It allows you to render the videos in a format that results in 2 versions being created , one standard quality and one higher quality. I use it because I have some fast action scenes filming dog sports and the normal youtube quality sucks when there is lots of motion.
Check out www.**youtube.com**/watch?v=2e5FZp1b69k remove the ** and click 'watch in high quality' under where it says views and you'll see a significant difference
Sony Vegas is easy to learn and gives some great results.
if you have a mac and want to get something up quick i usually record with screenflow and edit in imovie 08. when you are finished editing it is just one button and uploaded to yout*be.
i will probably upgrade to final expr*ss soon as this editing stuff is getting fun and imovie 08 is limited. but once again very easy to use and great for getting something up fast as hell.
I prefer vegas over premiere, simply find the interface a little easier to use, it has more effects then premiere (that I want to use) if you're looking to skip some/all of the After Effects work (a big hassle in my opinion).
I have used Pinnacle for years from version 9...it was always good but a nasty habit of crashing at inopportune moments causing hissy fits. Now with version 12 I have been using for about 3 months and no problem. It has great libraries of transitions and FX (don't overdo these..beginner mistake no.1)
V12 Ultimate available on loads of To Rent sites, I'm loaded so I bought it.
