I used Nick's techniques in my description field. I placed a link to my targeted URL and tons of keywords (even used a keyword tool as suggested) with a lot of keyword studded text in the description as Nick suggests.

Views shot off like a rocket with 300 in 20 minutes, unfortunately the video got banned for spamming and overuse of keywords. I wanted to really push it to see what would happen, so I did.

I think if this part is kept sensible, the whole thing still works as it worked when this thread was started.

Hey, nice Report, your post is pretty old, but the Report looks still so young !!! thanks for the contrib !

With all the recent mass bans, account terminations and video delations youtube has turn into a cannibal. Lots of watsed time and energy trying to utilize youtube when the Flagging is totally out of control.

Im pretty sure youtube will make your video rank worse if you over use keywords, these penalties can't be taken lightly. I'd use with caution.

be careful! some the information is outdated and not accurate anymore so you might want to rethink some of this stuff like the keyword stuffing as bigblock said.

Overall still a great guide, easy read and best of all it was free.
