A great way to get some additional free traffic from Google and Bing News is to slap up a quick press release and submit it on a free PR site like PRLog(.)org

Quick Tip: If you use PRLog they wont hyper link your links in the PR unless the PR is a certain length. So if they don't link you just edit your PR and make it longer.

You can get thousands of views of your PR if it is a hot news topic. Then in the first 2-3 sentences of your PR you include something to the extent of "To see the full news story go here [link]" or "for the full exclusive footage visit [link]"

You might just paste a news story from another site and change the first sentence or two. If you do that Google might see your news as duplicate content but Bing News is less picky

This works great if you crank out some videos relating to trending topics on Google Trends...

it shows up on google news and bing news. if someone searches or has an alert set up for "50 cent" your prlog page will show
