Before I start I just want to say that this is information that I've tested myself. I use to make 900$ per day with YouTube on average posting 2000-3000 comments per day so I am very familiar with YouTube.

I had a freelancer make me a program which comments YouTube videos by signing in and out of accounts and posting 2 comments with each account. I hired an indian here on BHW and he made me 100 accounts for 12$.

In that week with my program I made about 3200$ and got SUPER screwed by YouTube. ALL my accounts were banned and so I got a new batch of accounts and they post comments , but my comments get marked as spam VERY soon and I only make about 150$ per day now.

Results from my testing:

-Once you are marked as "spammy" by YouTube , there's no going back.
Keep in mind youtube is owned by Google , the same company which made apps like Google Earth and the incredible search engine they have.

-Proxies , VPN's , different accounts and different browsers won't work. YouTube tracks EVERYTHING , mac address , ip adress , similarity in comments , accounts , track you using cookies and more which I probably don't even know about.

Solution:
Sorry to say but I've tried everything. Ive tried starting from scratch with private proxies only I had access to, and with accounts I created myself and completely revamping my comments and even bought a new domain. It seems as if there is no solution. I can't even create accounts with any different proxies I buy because YouTube recognizes proxies somehow and won't let me access the registration page. ( Try it yourself I'm not kidding)

As for posting tips:
- make your comments look realistic
- don't make them too long
- don't generalize them to a big niche , take the extra time to change sets of comments manually if your using a program. EG" instead of posting in the entertainment niche , try post for oprah winfrey and dr phil videos.
- keep it simple!

EDIT: I THINK I MAY HAVE A GOOD SOLUTION! When people were clueless about proxies with craigslist what did they do?WARRRRDRIVING. I'm getting my first vehicle since im now of legal age to drive(09 escalade) registered to my name on tuesday:D and so I will report back with my earnings and results. Will be changing domains , comments , accounts and even niche.

I think better is comment from 1 account 100 times. I newer get banned, but also newer done more than few hundred comments with 2-4 accounts.

So in other words. Whatever you do, you're screwed? I do agree that they catch you very very fast. Good tips though, you have to make it realistic. Quality over quantity!

Very well put , youtube is about quality and niche targeted comments. And yes , whatever you do your eventually gonna get screwed:smashfrea

mafiaboy

do you spin comments so that each of them looks unique?

oh btw, has anybody tested that? If two different accounts from diff IPs post the same (or 80-90% the same) comment, would the second YT account's comment be marked as spam?

I saw that funny thing with "Merry Christmas" marked as spam. just wondering...

It's very useful post, thanks mafiaboy

I think that YT learned identify spam very quickly - this is not good)))

You must be doing something wrong, I know a guy that has posted well over 20.000 comments (Then he got banned) and he started up again with proxies and different domains for accounts and he's posting again 24/7.

good post mafiaboy. i had been baned from 5-7 acpunts so far in 2 weeks i always start again they always mark me as spam somehow.. youtube its geting to be like ebay :))

I am posting about 500-600 comments everyday on only 20 accounts. It's about 30 spam comment/account per day. My accounts last for a month.

I am really suprised that youtube don't care about spam. They don't even care about user complaints - some of my profiles had many negative comments like "spammer as fuck", "yes i wanna win free iphone you dickhead"
Kinda funny ;)

I have one question, when you say, you got a new batch of accounts, how did you get them? I mean, did you get them from the same guy like the last time? Perhaps he just screwed up, didn't clean his flash cookies, was too fast at registering or something like that and thereby your accounts got worthless.

And another question, is it even possible for a website, to get your mac adress? I mean, I can't think of any method (although I am far from being pro at web programming) and I just wonder, why so much websites still relly on cookies and IPs, when Mac adresses can be found out.

But good post, and well, to be carefull is always a good idea I think and that youtube gets smarter, we should make our comments more specific and proxies don't work, are useful informations in my opinion.

Do you use proxies, and do you use free or paid proxies?

I dont think this is strictly true because I posted lots of comments to one domain and a few to another domain I had. YT banned all my accounts, and I got some more, now the domain I posted lots of comments is marked as spam instantly so I changed the comments and now some (not all) dont get marked as spam. The other domain is the same but I changed the comments and lots are getting through with only few marked instantly as spam? so It is very strange maybe the more comments the harder the spam filter, but I wouldnt say its impossible to still make money from YT.

Youtube - Let your random side out

Today and yesterday I still spam with 10 accounts, 20 comments per 10 minutes with the same url(.)com as my previous banned comments and accounts. Non of them were marked as a spam! Maybe the spam filter will be turned on after Sunday or new year. Or it runs ones per week or days and delete all comments and accounts!

"All You Need To Know About Commenting with YouTube" that's over exaggerated isn't it?

Im posting on videos with 15 million + views , and yes some comments to stick but not many.

mafiaboy, maybe they are not "too unique"?

If I rotate between 4 comments or 10 it won't make a difference when your posting the amount I do , I still end up with hundreds of duplicate comments. I post about 3000 comments per day on average now to make 10x less than what I use to.

Hmm im not sure if i agree with all the points you made but either way it is quite interesting..Thanks!
