Alright, short little intro, and then onto what i need

As i posted in an off topic thread, i recently quit my job to do im FULL time. i was doing quiet well with it. my main source of income came through my youtube video. I made my Own ORIGINAL content, that linked back to my money site.

This was working great, till one day, i wasnt making money. i ran to youtube to see that my videos were deleted. Due to "copyright claims by users"

The user was "Crooked Crook" i shit u not. thats what it said...

I quickly made new accounts and Reuploaded my videos. then i got really upset. someone had downloaded all my videos. and reuploaded them to various accounts and pointed them back to THERE money site *and they runnin some nasty PPI stuff*

Guys, this makes me sick. im worried now how imma pay the bills, while someone is using my vidoes, that i created, with my voice, to make money.

How can i get his videos removed / banned

I hear people saying that if u use tube increaser unwisely youtube will ban your videos. is there validity in this? im scared if i do it, ill just make his videos more popular.

Im just upset / scared right now.

ANY help is appreciated.

I seriously doubt that youtube will understand when they see my video is for marketing, they dont really care. I have sent in a claim with them tho.

I just did another dispute with youtube, but it looks like they even banned the gmail account associated with that youtube account.

So if you were making 9k a month from online work, and 2k a month at a dead end retail job, you wouldnt quit your retail job?

I had more than 1 site, about 7 total. and each site had about 3 vids associated with it. this guy got them all taken down.

If you were making 9 Gs a month hopefully you kept enough back to keep you going for another month or two -- stop being scared and worried (and getting in your own way) and do it again with some tweaks. Rolling with this kind of thing and adapting to it just the nature of the beast, eh?

Thanks, i know what u mean. Im an odd person, and yah, i do have some to survive on, and i am still making a lil bit of money. not like i was. not even close. Unfortunatly i keep freaking out and get all panicy.

And How come we have the exact same video online, same key words, he has 2k views I have 7k views, yet his video shows up first on youtube? just dont make sense

I would try to get a new youtubeaccount or simply write youtube from another email they dont know of. Tell them that youre the owner of the videos and that your account wasnt infringing copyright.
If that doesnt help I would take legal actions. You should have some money left... I wouldnt let go this bastard with this because if you start again he will earn your work again.
I think when youtube gets message from lawyer they will look into the case. Maybe you can even demand compensation because youtube deleted your vids? But I dont think that you have the right to host videos there and youtube wouldnt be in charge. But who knows... Ask a lawyer about that.

I do have more youtube accounts, but its like My Old Video Is Now My competition! Gah!

Youtube wont give me any info about anything unless i email them from the account i signed up with, WHICH IS THE SAME ACCOUNT in question.

If the whole video was really created by yourself, you can make a counter-claim.

Here's some information about that:

Subsection (g)(1) gives the subscriber the opportunity to respond to the notice and takedown by filing a counter notification... If the subscriber serves a counter notification complying with statutory requirements, including a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed or disabled through mistake or misidentification, then unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the subscriber, the service provider must put the material back up within 10-14 business days after receiving the counter notification.

The video should be yours again after a few days, unless the guy files an action seeking a court order, which he probably won't.

Again its a game of looking at the two ways. You could pay a lawyer and maybe get your incomesource back or you spare your money and can live with this money some more weeks. And you have to build your income from the scratch.

Now when i try to log in it just takes me to a google accounts page about how my account is suspended *get the same exact page when loading the gmail account*

So, ive sent emails off to youtube (with above stupid reply of please email us from the account you signed up with)
AND ive sent off emails to gmail about why the hell you suspended my gmail account.

LETS pretend for a second, that my video did infringe someones copyright. WTF does that have to do with a gmail account?

Well, that's weird. The guy obviously knew what he was doing.

Anyway, just keep sending them emails and once you've got access to your youtube account again, make a counter-claim. The other guy will probably back off after that.

I dont see you arguing. Your right its open if your income is reinstated when you would win because you dont know where your vids are listed then.
I think it should be possible for youtube to simply reinstate them but I dont know if they do. But they show them as copyright infringement. That means they keep all the data at that moment. So theres a chance in my eyes.

If I would be in your case now and I would be unsure what to do I would go the cheap way first and go to a forum for rights. In my country there are a couple of them so sure in your too. So I would find the right forum and ask there. Mostly you get good enough answers to get a view of your legal position and the chances. EDIT: 1link seems to find a forum for you...

However... next time when you make money get one or more completely different approaches to have income. Maybe simply buy websites that make nonfaked income. Especially when having not a job anymore.

I see what your saying, but you should have been patient and stuck it out a while longer at your job.

i mean videos are the only thing keeping your income its not reliable. However, if you had good google rankings, and sold some sort of subscription service that is a lot safer,( eg you sold hosting) if you did somehow loose your rankings, you still have your customers so its going to take ages for your income to deplete ...

if you get my drift, leaving your job doesnt always depend on income of your online work alone you have to think of other things

I've gotten screwed through the copyright BS. It's damn near impossible to get back where you were. I reuploaded but views went to zerooo obviously and never really recoverd for that vid.

Make new stuff. Post it as reply videos to the scammers videos.
