i think youtube changed something, i dont know if the middle frame of a video is the thumbnail anymore.

nor does anyone it appears totally random now. This could be the lead up to having to pay for something new with YouTube for sure.

i made a few videos and the center is the thumbnail again but what i did was make the movie only three frames long each 30 seconds

they probably changed it because people were placing fake images as the middle frame to make the video look like something its not......

It still takes the thumbnail from the middle but not exactly from the middle. It's something like +-5 seconds from the middle.
