YSM is Jealous of High PPC Spenders or did I get lucky? I know that there are ppl spending more on PPC than me.

Well here is what happened. I had direct linking campaigns to offers and I used slightly misspelled urls. For example instead aenta.com I used aentainsure.com.

Well anyways I used this method for over 2 years made tons of money and never had an editiorial problem. Everything was always approved and running fast.

Now on June 10th all my display urls were corrected by them while I was sleeping. I wake up and see most of my ads as a part of a bidding war with the advertisers display urls or other affiliates. (Just like Google isn't it?)

Now I see a whole shitload of ads running of other affiliates that direct link with misspelled urls. You can see it everywhere.

LOL but only mine were changed and if edit the urls the ads are disapproved for unacceptable url content!


So what the fuck is going on? Does anyone have a similar problem? Could anyone explain why my ads were changed specifically an others are getting away? Are any of you also having problems when direct linking in YSM?

I am more than sure that plenty of you use YSM. Could give me some advice on this please

Same day, they took out all my ads on "editorial" issues after i'd been running for months. Other accounts are still running the same keywords, editorials. I'm a little perplexed at our Yahoo decides and how they run their business. Bottom line, they want us to spend more money...so they put us back in the mix.

it's just that they go through accounts and review them, I had that happen to me several times and when I called and asked they just shrugged their shoulder and said these are the rules.
What I did was create a new campaign with same settings and got it going until I got caught again. lol. it actually worked couple of times.

So what I wonder if to create a bunch of new accounts and put up the same old campaigns. Would the misspelled display urls get approved?

Like a month ago I could put whatever display urls I wanted in YSM.
