Re: Yahoo PPC taking my money!
That's normal behavior, I think - if i read your message correctly.
Yahoo, amongst other ppc engines, automatically recharge/refill your balance to estimated 5 days(varies) worth, whenever you spend or your balance drops to that point.
if you pause your campaigns or your account - even though they charged you, you're not really being 'charged'. Simply email them and say refund your balance.

Re: Yahoo PPC taking my money!
dunno if it's changed but yahoo used to continue to charge your CC at whatever increment you selected, until you have a 3+ day balance, based on your estimated spend. this sounds normal. you can ask them to refund it if you pause your campaigns, but as long as they're active this is just how it works.

Re: Yahoo PPC taking my money!
HAHA, this happened to me too, I got so mad at them then gave yahoo shit for not having a automated feature where we can control our spending. Instead you have to call in. They told me in the near future they are gonna do something maybe, but the system was built to scam people out of money with auto reload. I told them it was very nice feature, but fuck some of us dont want to spend all that money right away.
They said for futuure considerations just call them and they will deactivate the autreload.
You can alternatively just delete yahoo off your paylist too!

You can control your spending by just emailing to them requesting to manually add funds to your account. I will get a reply within 24hrs

Re: Yahoo PPC taking my money!
its good that they gave your money back instead of being like well your sol and your out x amount of dollars. im sure if they did shit like that they wouldnt have much business. what would really suck is if they used all the money on your debit and you got overdraft fees

Re: Yahoo PPC taking my money!
Can someone clarify..
Does Yahoo search marketing accept payment from unverified Paypal? Also,If we choose PP as our payment mode how do we stop yahoo frm unnecessarily charging our PP account(Like the Op above). After the initial payment should we cancel the subscription or anything like that?

Re: Yahoo PPC taking my money!
Yeah I dont like that feature about yahoo either. I've had to deal with this multiple times...but once you get used to it....its all good. Yeah they will refund you the money...so that is always a good thing.
APK2004...yahoo is not that bad when learning PPC.....i actually have been using it for the past year or so..and to be honest..it has much less restrictions that Google.
