how long does it take to be approved by yahoo?

I've applied once a month for the last 2 years and have never been approved. I think they're letting it die.

Hey guys, Im new to BHW, and so thought i should make my first post useful

I guess you are all talking about the Yahoo Publisher (Yahoos version of Adsense), well I have 2 accounts with them. I have had the first one for about 2/3 yrs now, and the second one I just applied for and got accepted.

it normally takes about 3-7 business days to get approved at which point they send you an email with activation code (i haven't yet activated my second account...dont really need it right now). I assume if you fail to meet their requirements, they simply dont contact you.....is it lame for them to keep you guys haning in there...yes.

I applied on the 31st March and got the email on the 4th of April
Anyway you might want to re-apply and use another website. BE WARNED THOUGH!:
IF YOU ARE SHOWING ADSENSE OR ANY OTHER AD NETWORK ON YOUR SITE 95% OF THE TIME THEY WILL DECLINE YOUR APPLICATION!

I always remove all ad networks from my site prior to the application for Yahoo Publisher, seems to have worked well so far

My websites are nothing to shout about, so its obviously another factor they are not accepting you guys on.

yeah it is, but I know many people who have applied and have had Adsense or adbrite running on the website....and ultimately they get denied by YPN.

It seems ANY kind of 3rd party ad network results in a denied application

Yeah makes sense what you just said, I mean why would anyone want to accept someone thats already with the competitor or enemy or whatever
