"An error occurred during login because you have not been granted access to any accounts."

Has anyone ever seen this problem. This started happening yesterday on all my yahoo accounts I've opened via a VCC. I was able to open up a new account this morning with a VCC....but was wondering if this was happening to anyone else.

Just checked all mine, and I signed in with no problems.

I think they just banned all my VCC accounts. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

I've had this problem from time to time with them too. A quick phone call usually resolves it though.

When I open an account with a VCC...I usually dont start advertising for another 24 hours with that account.. After i start, my ADs show up immediately.

I've learned why this happens. Your account is under review and they freeze your account when they can not verify the VCC information on your account. I called them and this is what they told me.

What are they doing exactly to verify the VCC information?

I figured out why this happens. You are promoting the same website over and over each time you sign up for new promotional credits. They eventually catch on and lock you out the account. The access granted message means you were banned. I signed up with fake domain and test ads let the account sit for a few days and it wasnt banned because it was a new site.

So i thought, well now ill add my old website since the account is OK well then boom it got banned!

You cant keep promoting the same domains with the promotional credits.

I talked to Yahoo today and they told me that they've instituted a new validation process that checks accounts more thoroughly before they go online. They said they had to do this because there were SO MANY new fraudulent accounts being opened. Its making my account opening a PAIN IN THE NECK now..... I've not been able to open an successful search marketing account for weeks!

IF anyone has any ideas as to getting around this please share!!!!

I dont want theories....I want people responses from people that are ACTUALLY succeeding in opening accounts. Sorry I'm a little frustrated right now with all the speculation.

Yes I have had that problem a while ago when they updated some stuff. Contacted them and they said they had to get technition to look at it, was about a week before it was fixed.

I jumped to conclusions that they had canned me...but alas was error on their part to do with data base?? - just contact them and they will soon tell you what is what. They also sorted out my champaigns while I didn't have access for me...which was good.

My accounts works fine to me..
