i'm about to start advertising with adcenter. i've done a quick search on here for information, but was wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks?

there seems to be a lot for advertising on facebook ads, but i haven't really seen much for adcenter.

any recent success stories?

anything i should know, like is there something that i definitely should/should not do?

cheers! :)

I use adcenter (MSN / Yahoo's version of adwords) with some good results for my business.

The traffic is generally of lower quality and much lower in volume than in Adwords. But, at the same time, it still adds additional revenue to my sites and is well worth doing for the more popular keywords.

i have found that the cost is way less to run ads on this network. Now your going to get as many hits as the search volume is not as high as google. But the customers it did bring to the site were better IMO

I used adcenter the other day (it combines both bing and yahoo) and spent my $50 free credit.

I got 2 sales in 40 minutes. Then nothing for the remainder of my voucher.

The voucher was free, so technically I made $40 profit.

Nice tidy little profit there :)

I have been using adcenter for about a year. When I first started promoting my site with adcenter and adwords, i spend hundred of dollars on adwords with only one sale. Using the same keywords, I probably had around 20-30 conversions with adcenter. I haven't used adwords since, waste of money and insanely high cpc prices compared to adcenter. I'm sure the traffic isn't as high in volume, but what good is all that traffic if it's costing you an arm and a leg to get it?

I think adcenter is not so good as compared to adsense and even companies like adbrite and bidvertiser etc. Why should anyone go for adcenter though?
