One of my friend told me that he is making money by selling chat rooms, he gathers some specific amount of members for chat room and then sells is for huge money.

Want to know exact method if possible.

yes its called ewhoring , you can chat to guys and ask them to signup on cam chat websites

Do chat rooms on yahoo messenger still exist? They were pretty popular somewhat 5 years ago but I haven't heard about them since.

Solid method your friend is using. Generally the IDS in chat all have a valid email associated with them if you know what I mean. (: They will be VERY hard to target though.

if you can create an IRC network that grows in a successful manner you probably could sell it for a good profit (especially to a spammer because he'd fuck the network dry)

chances are though any attempt at creating an irc network will fail. you'd be better off just visiting well established ones and pushing offers.

im not much into the e-whoring, but the good old 'ha ha this shits funny <link>' usually gets a good number of clicks
