I have opened several accounts with them and they always stop showing my ads. I was told by support and their supervisor person to open the new accounts. At first it was my affiliate links because there wasnt enough other content. I added a ridiculous amount of unique content and opened a new account. and yet again the ads stopped running

So after being told it was still the affiliate links I opened another account at their advice to a hobby website of mine just to see if i continued to have the issue. This site has not one affiliate link on it, and is over 300 pages of unique content and my ads stopped yet again

Im calling in again tomorrow but is anyone else having issues like these? I get good traffic from adcenter but this is getting ridiculous

Adwords and Adcenter are trying to cut down on affiliates. They want people selling their "own products". Look into cloaking to get around it if you know anything about that (meaning showing a different lander to their IP; as if you were actually selling something of your own).

Otherwise yeah, they're trying to f over affiliates.

edit: just re-read your post... the second part is weird about stopping ads to your hobby website. Must be a mistake or such.

That is what is annoying me so much that a site with zero affiliates on it stopped running, and no one could give me a reasoning.

Well that just means they have issues with their system... not much you can do there other than the whole new account hubhubb. As for cpc cloaking I gotta admit that's a pretty advanced topic till you have the script sitting in your lap so I'll post a few relevant links here when I'm on a computer.

They seriously have their heads up their own asses.

My ads get stopped all the time because of the BS "quality guidelines".
Never tell you the real reason behind it. Just template type replies.

Support is hopeless as well. You get different answers everytime
you talk to someone different. They simply don't know what they're doing.

Yeah, it totally suck, Everything is active but Ads not running, suck at 0 impressions/click/spend

I think the ad was already running but the stats weren't updated because in balance, I see .52 I think, Adcenter used .52 for the few clicks I got.

They're a bunch of morons plain and simple.

If you're ad says active and you have stopped receiving impressions all together then you can kiss that account goodbye.

Trust me on this one. I've spent hours chatting with support and jumping through all the hoops. Basically it doesn't matter what changes you make or how much you try and comply. They'll just feed you BS reasons that simply don't make any sense.

i find it hysterical that microsoft adcenter keeps claiming lately how their main concern is a "positive user experience"
