I do know in the parking industry bing and yahoo are indeed less strict than google
Google Adword is certainly the hardest when it come to affiliate marketing, Bing has their own set of rules but they are a bit more relaxed than big g.
I haven't done PPC for a while now, but when I did, Bing and Yahoo were much less strict. Bing was also a hell of a lot cheaper per click. That may be different now though since more people are using it.
Google is still where all of the traffic is though, so don't leave it out of your PPC marketing campaign unless you have to.
They are more lax but they have recently introduced their own quality score system and it seems to be buggy as hell. There are horror stories all over the net at the moment about their crazy editorial policies and major headaches getting ads approved. Dunno what the hell is going on over there at the moment.

bing/yahoo was once more relaxed, but they are trying really hard lately to be even more evil than google.
they are shutting off accounts without any warning because of the tiniest details without even a warning email. i guess they think that if they follow G's path of idiocy, they too will earn millions from ad revenue. but it wont work. people will realize that if they want to deal with stupid policies and bullshit they can just go back to google where there is more traffic.
the reason people use bing in the first place is to escape from the asshole-ish-ness of google, but if forced to choose between two assholes, people are going to go to the asshole with the most traffic.

YSM and MSN are like my childhood pals. They never disallowed anything for me![]()

Adwords is now stricter than before. They seems tend to suspend account promoting affiliate products from clickbank. I would rather try Yaho and Bing.
good to know
I can personally vouch to that. We've had an account work for a while, and then it got "disapproved". Worse yet, creating another account under another name didn't help either. Then, to add to the insult, they disapproved that person's account that they had been using for YEARS. I am still wondering how to get it all back.
adwords permanent bans quickly affiliate sites.
bing and yahoo still allow affiliate sites to some extent.
msn is a pain. yahoo was the best.

does yahoo let your ads link directly to an affiliate sales page?
Exactly...well said
Do you realize that (for months now) YSM and MSN are now one and the same entity run through the Adcenter platform? Together they have def. become much more strict than they were before. Like gts6 was referring to, MSN/YSM are turning into PPC nazis and currently following the trends set by their big brother Goog*e with banning accounts w/no warning.
Yes, but probably not for long. Just don't run Payday loans or Biz Ops because it's been all over the net that they're banning accounts for it.
