I notice all marketers recommend adwords, is it a hype or something?

I use adwords for a period of time, I sold some IM products but break even only, and I lost money when I use it for weight loss niche, I made one sale for adult pay site(then Google banned my porn ad, sure they should).


Anyone really making money now in IM market r any market using PPC ads?


If I can use PPC and affiliate programs to make money, then I won't need to build those websites spending hundreds of hours on net.

If your just starting in PPC, start with MSN and Yahoo, they are alot cheaper, better conversions, and alot easier to get your feet with. Sm say the traffic isn't as good, bu I say just expand your market and the traffic will com.

Adwords is better by far. I turned YSM off 2 years ago because they were such garbage. Stick with Adwords and MSN Adcenter and you will do fine.

I do okay with adwords, sometimes hit or miss. But much, much better with Bing.
They are coming up fast!

I think the general consensus is that google has more traffic, but others have cheaper bid prices. So, if you're in a tiny niche, google might be the only place to find enough traffic to be worthwhile. But if you're constrained more by your budget than by the amounts of traffic you can get, then elsewhere may well be better.

As mentioned AW has the eyeballs but you need to be very careful of the type of offers you promote. Eg you go for Bizop on AW be prepared to wait until approved (days) or get a s a l a p. If you promote a 'legit' offer you'll be approved and get traffic in a couple of hours or less.

Yhoo approvers seem to work every other day and decline ads & keywords constantly. It can literally take days to get a spelling correction approved. Bingo well who the hell knows what goes on in there - so little traffic, interface is really slow, some days you get traffic other days little.

At the end of the day try all of them as they all have their own little quirks and it's good to have different ppc accounts so you can scale when you find a winner.

I like setting my clients up with YSM! and 7search straight away. After than we will assess the results and proceed with other PPC campaigns accordingly.

Google is important for real estate agents, getting those impressions to the home searchers. We recently found out that a lot of our our local traffic was coming from MSN.. maybe because they are all using old browsers around here.

I have found the opposite to be true, but then again, it could just be my niche
