Hey BHW Members.

I was looking for offshore hosting a few weeks back and came accross..

hmm my first impressions.. = SCAM.

But they wernt :) there cheap. Provide good space.. (10gb plan im on)

and 20/7 support. been using them for about a month now and its goin good so far..

The server uptime is not 100% perfect but its up near enough all the time. Let me know what you think :rain:

is hosted at ThePlanet.net. Their domain is also registered with godaddy... That's a little weird for an offshore host don't you think?

And plyrjohn404, you obviously work for them.. everyone of your posts is a testament to how great of a service they are..

So what exactly is going on here guys? These prices seem too good to be true and this all smells fishy to me:paranoid:
 
They are cheap for now but when everyone jumps ship it will be normal prices.

PS they allow warez linking but not warez hosting.
 
So Dan, you've use them then, and can vouch for them as a legit offshore hosting service?

Until someone can tell me why their homepage is sitting on what looks to be a shared hostgator server, I will obviously remain suspicious. Not to mention plyrjohn404's blatant affiliation with them..

They are also fairly reasonable... at 3.99/month
 
Hmm 6.99 for an unmetered plan. Interesting... ;) But since they are in Germany, how fast is their service for someone in the US? For me their pages load lighting fast. If its the same for Us users I could switch from Bluehost to their service.
 
It looks great to get a cheap hosting service with all the quality and providing service for 20/7

There good. Good services and its simple. if you dont want your site to be taken down. dont HOST warez. LINK them. (off to another site)
