The pursuit of money has pretty much destroyed every thing that is good on the internet. Now every moron has a blog loaded with adsense and thinks people really care what they have to say. Porn couldnt just exist with some free content and a $29 website, they have to double triple bill upsell crossell and defraud, then the assholes got into warez and started loading everything up with spyware and adware, identity thieves. Bah. The last thing we had left was the ability to grab some torrents of software that we couldnt afford, or didnt want to pay for, well now I go to get a copy of diskeeper for my Mother and lo and behold its a password protected zip file with some stupid shit about "hey arent you glad you got this so fast, keep our stolen shit coming to you quickly, give us your email and jump through this hoop". Thats really fucking lame, and I will take the time to hop back on mininova to go find a file that doesnt do this. Bandwidth is about a cheap as air at this point. Its one thing to pirate stuff, its another thing to resell stolen goods, that is stupid and its lame, and its small time. There should be SOME honor among thieves.
