I have been having this problem for the last few months and I dont know what the reason is. So all of last year I torrented like nuts mostly creating torrents and uploading them to people who wanted them and everything was fine. Then I laid off of torrenting for a couple months, then when i decided to start it up again, i noticed none of my files were uploading to leechers. I even tried creating new torrents none would upload would allow anyone to connect to me, but i could still download torrents fine, and when i downloaded someone else's torrent i could seed and upload that fine but none of mine i created. So what do you guys think might be the reason? It would appear it is some problem with my torrents not network issues right? I tried everything network/firewall wise, i even tried torrenting directly thru a computer to modem with no router involved, and torrents still wouldnt upload. My torrents will say Peers: 0 of 27 connected. What reason is causing this, and how can i fix it? Please help me guys!

anyone have any idea about this? i really want to fix this problem. When i seed other peoples files i can still upload just fine, but all my torrents that are of my creation i never have any people connect.

Have you checked your router settings?

You may need to make sure that the port you use for torrenting routes correctly. If you run uTorrent, there should be an icon in the bottom of your client that says whether or not everything's connecting right.

What trackers are you using? Are they online and working?
If you can seed other peoples torrents the problem is something other than ports

which trackers do you use?
to which torrent sites do you upload?

yeah even when i get the green icon it still has problems and i even tried not using a router at all and still had problems so i dont think it has to do with routing.

i uploaded torrents to a lot of sites but i always at least upload them to torrent portal, and btjunkie

um i used the same trackers for a long time here are the new ones i tried using most of them are checking out as working.

like every now and then a torrent of mine running will actually have a peer connect to me but the uploading will be really slow not ever getting much higher than a few kbs and then it will stop uploading after a couple of mins or so

also in the utorrent seeds column it will says 0(1) seeds ?

what do you guys think?

also another thing i notice is when i add one of my self created torrents to utorrent of whatever program it will instantly say like 0(5) seeds which is odd cuz there should not be any other seeds being this torrent is new and i havent even posted it yet for others to download?

first, there´s no need for tripleposting.
then, as long as the trackers appear as working it shouldn´t be a problem of the trackers.
regarding the numbers in brackets i don´t know why it is but i also have torrents sometimes that i just created and didn´t even upload but that already have tens of peers...
but that is nothing to worry about.
maybe your torrent is just not interesting so that nobody downloads it?
did you search for the torrentname on google to see on which sites it is available?
if you don´t mind just send me one of your torrents that don´t work and i can have a look at it.

i tried a few different clients already but i like using utorrent

im trying a proxy with utorrent cant see any changes, is getting a proxy from hidemyass proxy list fine for this?

when i post a torrent on torrent portal it said this

does that mean anything important, i cant really remember if i recall seeing that before
