I have been scouring the BHW threads and have yet to find a comprehensive list on the the best private torrents for different types of content they need. Hopefully we get some people chiming in on their experiences with their sites of choice and possibly start an invite exchange. Personally I would be interested in knowing a good site that caters specifically to software.


List of sites:

Demonoid (Private, solid selection in software, videos, and music...etc.,virus/malware risk is moderate)

Elbitz (Private, highly diverse selection of education materials only! Very useful for those interested in e-learning material. Virus/malware risk is low.)

Piratebay (Non-private, good selection of all types of content, virus/malware risk is high)

Isohunt (Non-private, good selection of all types of content, virus/malware risk is high)

if i can remember well, torrentleech is pretty good at softwares (regular uploads & TL 0-day packs) and they have open registration atm:

If a site is private, you won't make money from uploading fake torrents. You'll get banned extremely fast (~20 minutes or less) and also get the entire invite tree banned.

Anybody know any different sites that are better for applications?

I have account in waffles, what.cd, torrentleech and blackcats for over 2 or 3 years now.

Blackcats is the best for any type of game. You can find anything there and well seeded too.

Torrentleech was always the best for general torrents like pc/mac software, games, tv shows and movies.

Between what.cd and waffles I prefer what.cd for the wide diversity and because they are the "new" oink (old music torrent site).

Since we are in BHW, users who joined sites where you have to maintain a ratio, check google for "ratiomaster" and learn (please learn or you will be banned) to use it!

Thanks, when I mentioned apps I mean more of pc and mac productivity tools. Games and music are really not a big priority for me at the moment.

been with torrent leech now for a few years and never had one virus or trojan from the site whilst getting software def one of the best sites for apps and some mac stuff as well

torrent leech is also good for games and bit soup also has a reasonable selection as well though they sometimes have numpties uploading viruses in software
