you just can't compare these 2

demonoid was a public tracker however it's also invite only know, lots of content, but not so good download speeds (at least when i last checked)
IPT is one of the best private trackers with lots of content, good pre-times and good download speeds

i'm part of a few private trackers, but i'm not really using them fearing of possible ban , i'm with the Russians/Eastern Bloc when it comes to torrent:

it's not really popular in western countries, because it's cyrillic, but i'd say it's the best tracker ever, you'll find everything besides the lots of Russian content of course, i mean everything, older things as well and they don't care about the ratio/dupereg at all, you don't really need to know cyrillic tho, after you registered and logged in, there's the search box at the top center
