I am new in IM (less than 6 months experience).
I found a profitable way to earn money using Torrents.
So I started with it 4 months ago.

First 2 months with SC and then with CPA networks.
When I switched to CPA, I was earning a steady 100-200$/day with almost NO WORK. (during the summer holidays)

But now it's October....
I don't know why....
I have more than 1000 torrents out there seeding. More than 200 are active and seeded by me.

I have 40 new torrents daily. I target good stuff - so I get lots of seeders (usually).

But now it looks like this:





What is happening?? It's not only me.....
Is this torrent thing Season-Bound or what?
or did humanity increase its IQ by 200%?


and trust me, it's not my landing page that sucks....

Your CPA company may be shaving you because of your traffic source. Try swapping out for another CPA company to see if your earnings go back up.

Maybe the trackers are using new systems to ban fake torrents?

How's the traffic on the landing page? Still same as normal?

Not sure, you are seeding so many torrents, hard to keep track of actual downloads per torrent, could be traffic is decreasing there.

Well, during summer holidays it was around 600-1200 UV/s daily.
These days its around 200-400 UV's.
But I had these sumbers 2 weeks ago, when I was earning 60$/day... so views have not changed that much though

Did you change what offers you were running? Were you running high payout low conversion trial offers?

Are you working with Fake stuff or no?

I am not a expert but why dont you try a tracking script like prosper202 or tracker202. Both are free. Maybe using them and testing you could find out the problem...or it could just be a bad month.

I was running only Pin submits in August.
But since September and so on.... I saw the earnings drop and changed to Email submits only

and this it is INCLUDING TODAY.... as you can see, it has higher visits than previous week. But the earning is 3 times as low

I do see both rev and visits are relatable, probably need to get more traffic out of the torrent files.

i also make my most money from torrents.
i usually upload 2-3 torrents every day or every two days.
the last months i made €6k-€7k per month from it but at the moment i also don't make that much.
ok, the last two months i didn't work much but still it should be more then it actually is.
i use the same landingpage and same offer for more then five years now.
it always worked and will work again.
sometimes you just have that bad times.
so when you didn't change anything just continue with what you do and wait till it works again.
in the meantime try to find something else to make money so that you don't have to rely only on one income stream.

darkstar69 buddy have u had low earnings periods like OP and me are having at the moment? and i'd like to know if u upload the two daily torrent on TPB or other trackers?

Don't worry man, it's seasonal. Trust me. Everyone who was filling out your offers is going back to school now. That's normal for this time of year. You'll probably see earings spike back up in December when the kiddies go home for the holidays, and then drop again around the second week of January when they go back to school (college or any other school for that matter). May to September are the best times for things like these.

i'm not downloading as many torrents as I usually do either

I read in the Piratebay forum, that they Mod create new system that banned fake tracker.
Go to priatebay forum and search "banned" , they are some thread discuss about they new system to banned fake tracker.

Torrents are first success I had

torrents were my first success/internet earnings also back in 2005 and still are my strongest moneymaker.
so no matter what others tell you, torrents are definitely not dead.
but in the last years i also experienced that there are very good times as well as bad ones.
i can´t tell why it just won´t work sometimes for a few weeks or even months.
but more important is that it will work again.
so just continue with what you are doing and wait to have better times again.
in the meantime find something else to make money with so when one thing doesn´t work temporary or for longer you still make money.
and with "something else" i mean something different from torrents, not only another torrent niche.
because when one torrent niche doesn´t work it´s good possible that another torrent niche also won´t work.
but for example you could also try to do what you´re doing with torrents with OCH (One Click Hosters) as well.
i also want to try it for few years now but i´m just too lazy.
but best would be to have something complete different that is not related to your torrents stuff at all.
i for example have some 100% automated campaigns running that bring enough to pay the monthly bills but not much more.
all the other money i make is for a very good living.
but even when my torrent or other stuff won´t work i still can pay my bills.
so basically, best would be when you have 3 or 4 method/money makers that each brings enough money to pay your bills, and that is really important.
because then it doesn´t hurt that much when one is not working anymore.
regarding the trackers, i only upload to TPB, btjunkie, sumotorrent.
the torrents get scrapd from tehre from other sites then.

yes, at the moment i also have a low earning period in my torrent business.
but it is just because of the time of the year so don´t worry too much.
and in my case it´s also because i sparely did any work in august and september, i better enjoyed the summer...
i upload always to TPB, btjunkie and sumotorrent (see above).

Do you mind sharing what type of monetization you're using? Seems like Adscend Media from the screenshot. Are you locking a password file to a download or are using adult/copyright content?

the last time i uploaded porn stuff is about 5 years ago i think and there it worked very, very good.
i still get money from some porn affiliate programs that i don´t promote for years anymore.

I'm a total noob w/torrents, but what this stuff seems totally blackhat to me - am I correct or is there a way to make $$$ with torrents in a whitehat manner? In other words - are you having to mislead or use copyrighted stuff every time in an illegal fashion to make money or can you earn $$$ without all that?

Yes there is

make your own apps and distribute them... write ebooks etc....

2 ideas:

1. CPA greedy bastards shaving your profits
2. You work your way in certain footprints - same niche/wording/structure of torrents, and you get a lot of return traffic, which is smarter now.

Now that I hear Darkstar talking about 6-7k Euro per month...

there are plenty of possibilities to use torrents legal.
you can write own ebooks and upload them, own music tracks, movie clips, software etc.
but you won´t get so much traffic as you would get when uploading famous stuff.
and that means not so much money for you.
but of course you still can make money also with legal stuff.

with 150 visitors i generate 1K,
maybe if you put some effort to buildsomething legitimate with your own product, you will make a little more cash in the bank per visitor

your problem is a classical one, bad conversion, some adsense guy have a very low money-IQ and get pennies per 1K visitors

sell stuff that people buy for good cash,that ain't complicated
