uTorrent needing a forwarded port in a VPS
I have a VPS run by XSServer that has uTorrent running on it. However, uTorrent isn't able to upload because the server has no open ports. I tried using 'netstat' and its various commands to use LISTENING ports, but that didn't work. The other failed method I tried were ports such as 80 or 8080. What can I do to get uTorrent able to upload?

Re: uTorrent needing a forwarded port in a VPS
you have to do this if windows firewall is on then go to=>control panel=>windows firewall=>exception tab=>add port
and specify name and port number(you can choose tcp or udp port)
and if this doesn't work then you have configure through router...but for this you may have to ask for vps provider to do this for you..anyway good luck
