niche research tool

I have been using the Niche Research tool in SenukeX to do some keyword research. How accurate is this tool? I ask this because it gives me the "Don't waste your time" rating for keywords that i accidentally ranked for (Page 3 of google) in 2 weeks. I want to make sure I'm not missing out on...
