i am sure that if you are using Hummingbird you have realised you cannot follow or unfollow anyone. This is because a recent Twitter update has had a negative impact on this tool and the API usage.

i reckon un patch will be produce soon (at least i'd like to hope), in the meatime you can unfollow and follow using other tools such as:

http://dossy.org/twitter/karma/

again, use them at your own risk...

I don't think so. However, I think this may do make some trouble for those tools which are using embeded IE browser.

well i don't think it has affected LivelyBrowser's tool... right? in any case they would fix it quickly.

hmm i tried humingbird a couple of minutes before and "following" worked for me.

Just the crap ones that were already slow and used the web GUI to move around. Ones that used the API like a good program still work golden.

Which program can unfollow people who do not follow you? I have about 250 followers and I'm following 650 so I want to reduce the difference some what.

I use Twitter Karma to bulk follow/unfollow. But you better watch it because I got an account with about 1200 followers banned for bulk unfollowing to many people.

There was an issue a few days ago with twitter unfollowing, it affected all twitter programs, especially those using the web browser. It's fixed now, and everything should be fine.

And yes, you shouldn't unfollow too many people at once, it will get your account flagged!

I dont think the API was affected? Just friend adders that used twitters web interface. Hummingbird etc.

what is everyone using for mass follow unfollow? i have an account with 13k+ followers its hard to use the usual stuff, hummingbird was excellent!

lol, Hummingbird along with all of Kevin's programs are easy to crack.

1. Locally host a webserver
2. add 127.0.0.1 license.mesiablabs.com to your hosts file
3. Under your htdocs of your server make a file called Licx.aspx
4. The contents of Licx.aspx should be "1" without the quotes of course.
5. Enter any random key into hummingbird

AND BOOM.

You have a cracked hummingbird. YOU CAN EVEN UPDATE IT!

Sure thing, google for "XAMPP" and install it, then under your C:\ drive there will be a folder called "xampp" click that folder, and there will be another folder called htdocs. Put the Licx.aspx file in there.

The thread title says 1.0.0.68 but the download is in fact: 1.0.0.64

So still NO WORKY.

*NOTE: I STAND CORRECTED. I had to "fiddle" with it because of Vista but IT IS A WORKY! Great job!
