Direct link is not allowed because twitter have been spammed to death with that link. Cloak your url or using url shortener, then you are good to go.

Just hide the referer and you will be fine.

The compliance manager of Peerfly is a member of this forum try asking him lol, hiding the referrer wont make any good chunks for ya so just abide by the rules and promote where the offer allows you do...

Cloaking your Affiliate link will not work. I know this from experience. The Twitterbot follows every link right to the end. Even if there are 10 redirects before the peerfly link, Twitter will instantly ban the Account when the url is tweeted.

I used to Tweet Clickbank links. Then, I started getting mass suspensions. Took awhile to figure it out. Turned out, Twitter started banning Clickbank links. Didn't matter if the links were shortened or not.

So, I got around that by using a bot redirect script. This script detects the Twitterbot and many other bots, sends the bot to a random website in the script (you can add or subtract sites), but sends the Twitter user to the affiliate link. I did a test. Set up the bot redirect script on 5 different sites. Tweeted a link for the first site. The first site redirected the Twitterbot to site 2. Site 2 to site 3. Site 3 to site 4. On site #4, the bot redirect script redirected the Twitterbot to a random site out of a list of 35. A regular user was redirected to site #5. Site #5 also had the bot redirect script. Bots were redirected to a random site and regular users went to a clickbank link. The bot redirect script has a log. As soon as I tweeted a link to site#1, I was able to see the Twitterbot appear in the log file of site #1, site#2, site #3, and site#4. But did not appear in the log file of site #5. The Account was not suspended. I clicked on the link in the tweet and was immediately taken to the Clickbank link. Then I picked an Account with very few followers, one that I did not care about, and did the same test. Except I had the bot redirect script on site #5 redirect all bots and users to the same clickbank link. Tweeted a link to site #1. Immediately refreshed my Twitter Account page and the 'Account is suspended' message appeared. Checked the logs and the Twitterbot appeared on all 5 sites. The log file on site #5 showed that the Twitterbot was redirected to the Clickbank link. This test proves that the Twitterbot follows the link right to the final landing page and if the Twitterbot encounters a banned link along the way, the account is instantly suspended.

If anyone would like this bot redirect script, just send me a pm and I'll gladly send it to you with no strings attached. I'll include a few instructions. This will only work on your own domain(s) if you have hosting and can upload the script to your site(s).

Word of warning: If you have hundreds of Twitter Accounts and think that you can use the redirect script on a few domains and have the hundreds of Twitter Accounts tweeting links out to these few domains, then I'll save you some pain. It will not work. You will still end up with mass suspensions, AND your domains will be banned. It isn't because of the redirect script. It is because you have several hundred Twitter Accounts sending links out to a few domains that Twitter hasn't heard of before. You would have to have lots of domains for this to work with hundreds of accounts. Not very cost effective.
