i have been browsing this site for a few hours and i see a lot of interesting stuff
there's so much offered here, but i am here asking
whats the best way to get more twitter followers? and the best way
for a newbie to market myself, i seen TwiendRobot but i couldn't download it
i am a rapper, and i am trying to boost my popularity i try youtube twitter
and my youtube videos only get about 9 views a month which is horrible..
please give me any type of advise it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Quit rapping...no I'm kidding. You need to find someone that will retweet what you are doing. Meaning: find someone that has a big following already and who will like what you are doing.

well i've tried that.. once people think there "famous" on twitter their so conceited to RT n e thing .. jus sayin but yeh everyday im promotin and promotin thanks!

try to participate in trending topics, follow key personalities, and maybe make your username easy to follow and search

Use good keywords for ur video and description..

i've tried GREAT keywords, as in things that are trending and related to MUSIC and still no success. thanks for the tips tho

To gain some authority you need to increase amount of followers even if not targeted for the beginning. Try this trick - follow all followers of account @autofollowbacks. Read their bio - it should be a link to the site there with big list of ppl who follow everyone. Submit your name there. I've checked quality of followers with StatusPeople - no bots, only real people. When you'll reach at least 1000+ followers ppl will start follow you themselves, it works like a snow ball, but beginning is hard. The best is to use TweetAdder, find crack in downloads
YouTube - increase your views with Youlikehits or similar - same idea here

lol @autofollowbacks. The account is only following 1000 people while it has 40,000 people... So no it doesn't follow back.

Also the last update from that account was in 2009.

do you do shows and ask people to add you on facebook, twitter, etc for your music and videos? maybe keep a book for people to sign up for a mailing list and then add them on fb?

There's a couple of ways to do it. I have 10K twitter followers and I've found this really helps:

1. Be active on Twitter.
2. Be funny, interesting, or inspirational
3. Reply to other people's tweets, no matter how silly or stupid they are
4. Be REALLY friendly

autofollowbacks has not worked for me so far. I tried just following 30 people, and no one is following me back. So far.... Does Not Work.

Trending topics, get people with lots of followers to RT you...things that were probably said already but yeah.

The thing with followbacks is they aren't really reading your tweets. I am also having trouble with twitter. I have had a genuine account since August 2009 and have around 130 followers only. And I dont really get into conversation in Twitter.

But my new game plan is to stop posting personal tweets and start mingling! Be interesting, use hashtags, send tweets to people of a similar variety, etc. I must make more effort.

I am also a new guy in seo social marketing field. And I am just wondering weather the increasing of followers is the only to get traffic through Twitter? I know that Twitter now have something like PROMOTION ACCOUNT, do you have any idea of it?

make sure your twitter name is good. name, picture and content are key. some people put at dopeshiznit544 and who really wants to follow that. That was an example, not sure if thats a real twitter name..

Im also trying to get some more followers its kinda hard but whatever, So far i got 1,194 just by retweeting follow trains and be myself. (at) CrownTheKing_
