so i notice that people unfollow on instagram whenever a.) a new pic is uploaded and b.) when u like photos.

the first one is obvious because your new upload appears on their timeline and if they see that u arent following them back or simply they are annoyed with ur upload they will unfollow.

but the 2nd one im curious about i notice if i like pictures that i wil occasionally get 1 or 2 people that will unfollow me every 5 minutes or so. is there a reason for this? do my likes show up on their instagram timeline? i know that on facebook i sometimes see things like "Robert Smith liked 5 pictures on instagram" and i have that feature turned off in my settings.

i cant think of why people would unfollow me if im liking pictures. ive also checked to see if the people who recently followed me are doing quick unfollows and nope each person that is newly following me is still in my "followers" list.

if my account is completely stationary and im not doing anything i can go for days or weeks without anybody unfollowing.

really confused by this behavior.

or maybe some of the followers that i do have are a bunch of spam accounts that are getting banned.

if you're a normal person, you wouldn't want to follow someone who likes thousands of pictures in minutes. That's not human-like.

huh? did u even read my post? if you are following someone you are not able to see what the person is liking so ur post doesnt really make sense.
