Twitter Question

I have 60 accounts for Twitter running on tweet adder and I am trying to think of 50-100 random tweets to put in automation so the accounts get something other then just RSS feed articles posted on them.

I am wondering if I put our biz contact number in a bunch of them will that raise a red flag with Twitter and get any of my accounts suspended. It would only be posted to each account every 48 hours, so it wouldn't be a bunch of times in one day. However with 60 accounts it would actually end up being 30 times a day spread out over all the accounts. (Hope that makes sense)

Last thing I want is to do all this work and then get them suspended because I put our biz number in a bunch of tweets. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help with this...

Biz numbers are ok, for links in posts they are cracking a lot

My feeling is that you would be alright as well. What the impact will be of putting one's phone # in a Tweet remains to be seen...I'd be interested to hear whether this actually converts. Are you using HootSuite or something like that to schedule your tweets?

Little bit of background:

I am using it to promote a nightlife business which sells bottle service, and line passes to skip lines at night clubs. We needed to come up with 50-100 tweets which we can put in TweetAdder in automation for the 60 accounts we currently have because my fear would be if we just did the RSS feed from the website that they would get shut down. We have it programmed to send 1 tweet a day from the list and an example of the tweet would be:

For bottle service tonight at (club name) text "Bottle" to (phone number)

This allows us to make a bunch of different tweets up and have something posted to the Twitter account besides just the RSS feed. I doubt it will be flagged by Twitter but I know a bunch of the competition will be pissed when half the accounts in this market on Twitter are owned by 1 company, so I assume some will get suspended. I have another 50 just sitting waiting to be put online so it's not a big deal.

I guess this brings me to my next question, if I am using WordTwit Pro to auto post to all 60 accounts do you think that will raise some red flags or should I be OK?

I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes but last thing I want to do is spend all the time building these accounts, adding 20-30,000 to follows to each one and then have them suspended for an avoidable mistake.

Personally, I don't see why that would be a problem...you might want to change up the format once in a while...I'm not sure what sets off Twitter's spam algo beyond link-spamming or being too aggressive with new accounts.

You can also interact with followers a bit, link to the club once in a while, offer a promo for discounts to the first 10 people who retweet you, etc. Good luck man...sounds like a cool idea.

Yeah, that was my thought too. I'm only familiar with TweetAttacks (RIP) for using spintax...not sure if other programs support it too, but it would be great do do some minor spinning...no need to go crazy with it though.

Yeah we got like 10 variations of each ad and then 10+ clubs that we promote so I ended up with about 120-150 ads.

I don't really care about the text part as the main point is to use all the posts (rss feed) to direct traffic to the site.

My question is with the RSS feed, if I have 60 accounts all subscribed to the same RSS feed, will this create a problem with Twitter or no?

The posts just have the heading of the article and then a tiny url service

basically like this:

Hmmm...I'd go easy on the RSS subs dude; you can try it out with a few junk accounts to see what happens, of course.

Can't think of another way to utilize all the accounts to get the message out.

Each day we have 6-9 posts go out about specials for the day, it's almost impossible to go out and manually put in that many tweets in 60 accounts.

Feeds are good, you will not have problems with that. I know 99% sure because I made one test setup with 200 accounts, tweeting 50 messages per hour, none of accounts banned or anything. I don't follow nobody so my tweets are not reported for any reason, I'm just leaving google crawlers to do their job. Have about 30 k messages in last month, per each account.

Twitter is really cracking down on creating accounts, we created 100 for this and lost 40 of them before we even got them put in Tweet Adder. I think the big thing is to send a tweet out and add 1-2 people right away, if you leave them blank they tend to get shut down.

Wanted to provide an update for those who are interested:

I am doing OK so far with this project.

I have been adding twitter accounts for all three businesses and have not had many issues once they get past the first phase of Twitter suspending them. When I make them, about 30-40% are suspended right away, what I have been doing with the rest is adding a bio to each account, a location and profile pic, then putting them into tweet adder. Once in tweet adder I assign a proxy right away and load up 50-100 tweets which I put into automation. I personally only have 1-2 go out a day and they are re-used so Tweet Adder never actually deletes them from my list. I let that run 1-2 days before adding anyone, just what seems to work for me.

After a few days I go back in and set up follow and unfollow. On the follows I start them all out SUPER SLOW on purpose, I only follow 10 people a day for the first 4-5 days, then 25 a day for a week. Then 49, 99, 149 and 199 and I bump it up every 5-7 days. I have never had an account deleted once in Tweet Adder doing it this way so it seems to be working.

As far as unfollowing, I set the program at 199 from day 1 and have it delete anyone who doesn't follow me after 6 days. Then once my accounts get over 1,500 followers, I turn off the follow and switch unfollow to unfollow 199 people a day regardless if they follow me or not. This brings your follows down to 0 and followers should be around 500 or so, just repeat this process 3-4 times and you will have over 2,000 and nothing to worry about. One thing other people have been doing is buying followers for the accounts which I have looked into. Basically buy a bunch of fake followers to boost all your accounts over 2,000 followers so it looks better to people who follow you and it also puts you over the 2,000 limit Twitter has which basically then allows you to do a lot more. Takes off some of the restrictions.

As far as RSS feed, I am using WordTwit Pro on my wordpress sites and I LOVE THAT PROGRAM, it sends out tweets to all my accounts without any issues. Lots of great settings in that program.
