O.P,
I bought some Facebook "shares" off someone on Fiverr a while back and he was very professional and even offered me some advice, and the shares have still stuck to this day. I know you're talking about fans but if you would like me to pass his details onto you PM me
.
It isn't my own gig if you're wondering lol I don't have the time or resources to get lots of FB fans in a short amount of time.

I still don't understand why you are hiring people on the side to get something that is, judging by your profile here, your specialty.

Re: Extremely Unprofessional Fiverr Seller
Although the topic mean to hash about a poor fiverr seller but i'm laughing all the way reading this thread. Nice English lesson, guess we can use that for troll people or get pissed off in the other way, i feel sorry for that.
Anyway, i found peterbruce just got some business on fiverr, if you're looking for someone who know to do a good job why don't you get it here with the same price, double quality, stress free and unbroken English?

Re: Extremely Unprofessional Fiverr Seller
Try and work with people who speak English half decent. I'm sure the majority of the issue here is in the language barrier. it's pretty evident that he has a very basic English vocabulary. I'm not sure he's trying to be as rude as it comes across.
PS. Fiverr and professional in the same sentence...

Sure there IS great quality out there for $5 but that's the exception, most people who do work on Fiverr are there because they don't have the skills or attitude to being a higher paid job.
Sure you can find gems at $5, but to complain about a $5 service is a little over the top, find another supplier, get over the $5 or pay a higher price for professional providers with professional services. I would never venture into the Fiverr market and expect a job well done, it'd be a nice surprise but not an expectation.
What places make you tip before you eat?
Also, this is the exact kind of mentality that lets people think it is acceptable to do a shit job. Only because you are spending $5 and not wasting away 100s of dollars does not make this kind of behavior acceptable. It is called fiverr and there is an agreement between the buyer and seller that $5 is the price of the job. If this seller cant be respectable about it, fuck him. He will get his negative reviews and have the word spread about his shit service (like the OP did by starting this thread). We shouldnt have to tolerate this crap only because we did not go with a 'premium' service. I dont care if I am only spending a $1 on a service, I expect it to be done to the best of its ability and with professional respect.

Absolutely correct. I use Fiverr so often but I haven't have any problem.
I usually contact the seller and clear up some things. Though this, I can sense whether this seller is good or serious what he/she is doing or not.
If I get a bad reply or too long to reply... I disregard it and move on, look for another one.
Doesn't mean services there are cheap, all are crap. There are some gold in there, if you keep looking.

Unbelievable.
Is it because he can only go up to 1500 and he doesn't have enough fans to make 3,000? I have a very nice fb fans person on fiverr who I use, but I keep in constant contact with him so I know when I have reached my limit.

There are some great gigs too. I used the gigs that @ActionTaker recommended in my "Favorite Fiverr Gigs" thread. I shot up in Google for what was already in there, and I also went in Google for keywords that I was never in there for. My friend went from nothing for her desired keyword phrase to number 7. Traffic is great and I am getting more orders than I ever have. It is due to fiverr and also ActionTaker for his help.

Re: Extremely Unprofessional Fiverr Seller
JMHO that's isn't worth two cents but here it is:
Responding with unprofessional rants / feedbacks to someone being unprofessional isn't a good idea. ESPECIALLY if you're competing on the same field.
I'm not picking sides in this debate because frankly, I'm only seeing one side of the coin. But consider this. This guy has friends that now don't want to see your gigs succeed. So they purchase your gigs and bomb you with negative feedback. Now you're both screwed. And for what? You didn't lose a dime with this seller and got all your money back. All you did was jeopardize your own account if the seller decides to retaliate. Not a smart business decision.
I speak from experience. When I first started in business, 22 years ago, I would get pissed at anyone that ripped me off, insulted me or wasted my time. I'd go into attack mode and end up stepping on my own dick because the nutcase had much less to lose than I did.
Just trying to say in business there isn't anything "personal". You make decisions based on what is good for YOUR business. What the OP did was not good for HIS business so that makes this a mistake in my book. Looks more like a knee-jerk reaction (really 7 or 8 negatives???) that will probably have undesired consequences.
Good luck in the future. JMHO
