Can anyone give out any tips on how to gain followers fast? I have made a tumblr bot and have been reblogging stuff for about 2 weeks.

I have around 44 followers, I am following 432 people.

I almost add my link while reblogging but still no effect.

come over to facebook site. Search in the tumblr groups there and post your link everyday or follow them and they will follow you back. I got 462 followers for 2 weeks

It really depends on your niche. You mentioned you've been reblogging a lot. Are these posts related to your niche? How are you adding the links? Is it through the description or through the photos?

I never thought of posting links from blogs into other facebook niches what a great freakin' idea. Thank you so much! But I am just curious, will facebook see this as spammy or is it okay per say if you have a design blog to drop links into the design page or groups once in awhile?

Post interesting content and unique photos. You may also engage yourself in social media exchange to gain exposure as well as followers. Basically, in Tumblr for you to be popular you must be hyper enough to make and share extraordinary content.

Great Unique content + Tagging with high traffic tags (can't help with stats on that) + Follow others (I'd say a bunch of 50-100 a day, for the few first days, for a week or two). I've been speaking with the guy of 4gifs.com who opened 4gifs.tumblr.com, since his first days there. They guy gets thousands of reblogs for some of his better gifs he post (he almost never reblog anything, except for photos or videos).

I've used tumblr quite a lot, I had 10k followers. It's really not that hard to gain followers, all you need to do is keep blogging. At first it's kind of useless to post your own stuff, because it'll barely get any notes/reblogs, so it won't help you at all.
I got my frist thousands by using webdom. Create a huge list of urls, and use auto follow. Once you've reached your following limit, wait a day or two, then unfollow them. Half of the ppl will follow you back. Repeat this until you have a few thousand followers, then you can post your own things, make sure you set yourself as source!

Doesn't it take an awful lot of time to do all this?
