Thanks,

I was going to do this, but I figured that using a custom one would make the account seem really authentic.

Re: Twitter Backgrounds?
If it's going to take a lot of extra time I dont think it will help any more than the default.

Re: Twitter Backgrounds?
No problem.
Once you have created the accounts don't forget to give them time to age before using.

Re: Twitter Backgrounds?
Personally I've found custom backgrounds last longer than default when spamming hard.

Code:

in this pack you have one backgrounds pack with few thousands bg's. And its easy to find them on various sites, keywords for search are "pattern background" , "tile background", look first in google Images search.

Since you are the "Social Media Expert" (at least that is written in your profile) you should know that ANY change from default settings and options in Twitter will increase the life of the account, gain more credibility, looks less spammy on the first view etc. I am doing testing and split testing over a 8 month now, various aspects of look and feel of accounts, tweaking every possible factor to make them to live longer, and I am speaking with confidence about that. Of course, disabling acc's depend of many other factors but main factor, in my opinion, is human factor, when other, real twitter users reporting tweets and bots with stupid messages like "I LOVE internet! Look I have free laptop for you". Generally, I don't remember when my accounts was blocked in bigger number than 20 or 30 per day, while number used to be more than 350-400 disabled daily. Every account of mine have some variation from another, never same background, bio, names always with random text string, profile photos constantly adding and changing values in name and size, etc, and I believe that that is a key factor that my acc's live longer, on the side that I don't send so many replies with links to sell something. Twitter is using advanced java robots that are searching through tweets, looking for any kind of patterns and similar behavior between acc's and tweets.

I was just wondering what you use your accounts for and how long they last?

Re: Twitter Backgrounds?
I use to use them for few of my sites with Amazon affiliate stuff for Phones, Ipads, Tablets Books etc (with plugin WPzon Builder) and book affiliate with few companies. Also one site with computer parts, high-end motherboards, graphic cards etc in combination with offline business (computer repairs and custom builds) of my friends. Accounts lasts about 12 to 15 days, posted tweets per account was about 1500 to 1800, all of them with links. I make settings to work only 124 - 126 tweets per day,127 / day is the limit on twitter. I didn't notice difference between random posts and few with links and just with links, life span was the same, so I worked with all tweets with links.
Conversions was terrible for Amazon part, good for books and very good for offline job of my friends, so I decide to mix online-offline, to not sell nothing directly but to drive traffic to somebody who actually have something to offer. Now, all jobs are for local people around me - I am promoting one DJ, computer shop and repairs, one restaurant, one Snack bar & Takeout, and finishing one of my projects for marketing of all gift shops, boutiques etc, businesses and services for tourists in my area, that will be a huge. Those accounts last very long, more than 2 month now, also with limited sending to 126 max daily. Some of them are dying but just because of random people reporting them. Some of them, just for fun, I reactivated without problems, simply sending email to twitter with line "hey, why my account is suspended
"
