So last week i decided to try a method on here using Tumblr to promote a clickbank product. Within a week i have 260+ followers and i'm steadily gaining 40+ more each day organically. The CB product i was promoting is in the exact same niche as the Tumblr blog and i've been getting nearly 50 hops per day now but not a single sale and not even one order form impression. The way i've been doing this is by putting an affiliate link in the click through link box for pictures so that it stays there when they are reblogged and spread exponentially. My question is this, is there a better way than clickbank to monetise this traffic because there is plenty of it or should i stick with clickbank?

how are you getting the tumblr followers? 40+ a day is crazy

At for the first couple of days i went on one of those tumblrtrain site to get low quality followers, or rather to follow as many as i could in hope they would follow me back. But after a while of posting what appears to be good content based on the sheer amount of reblogs it just seems to be growing exponentially now. I think its possible to do this but only in certain niches that are very popular on tumblr.

Maybe you should setup a blog on your own domain, rather than using your aff links on there. Try to redirect the followers to your blog, so that there would be a better conversion. I have tried that and has worked with some quality content, but don't know if it works for your niche.

I already have many blogs on many domains, as well as an authority site. I was simply trying out this method to diversify and test it out. Also sending people to a blog via the links is hardly going to help conversion. Because it just puts up more barriers between the person and the end product.

For the question on how to earn money, it easy. You need to find a good PPD site and register to it, put the code ads to your blog and start earning per click. You can also put some downloadable features on your blog, that is really efficient in making the clicks. Also generate traffic, although 40+ followers a day is already a big number of followers already you need to double it up! and by the way that 40+ is really followers? or the one you were following?
