I've added a "Google Plus Version 1.0.2 by Ajitae" button to my WordPress blog.
I know that Google Plus helps your site to get ranked better in Google so my question is: is this the right button to help my blog get ranked or do I need to add one in a different way ?

Why not just integrate using Google +1's installation details. That way you are ensured he isn't +1 jacking you at all. It really is a quick easy install, I did it in less than 3 minutes on my sites.

The best thing you can do is integrate the google +1 button on your home page for the best effect. In such a case you can add the button manually without the need of a plug-in. Lastly http://www.addthis.com/ is a great way to integrate Google plus but also Facebook and Twitter in a very easy way.

@suave try pasting the link directly to the address bar. it will open for sure

To check the details on another link click on the "advanced options" and pasta the URL you want to check on the section that says "URL to +1:"

If you guys have any questions regarding Google + ask ahead I make a living with it :P
