Hey guys, I've been reading alot about marking on utube. What will get you list better and have more real views adding lots of friends or lots of comments or both. Just trying to pick the right tool for the job.

Personally I would go for more comments and favorites then friends. Just my experience but once I make my videos go viral they eventually get flagged and my account gets suspended. So no use having lots of friends for me as I'll have to start a new account anyway.

Plus, with comments you can get on the Most Discussed Page and with favorites you can get on the Most Favorited Page. Once you do that your views will get boosted quite a bit.

It really matters what you are trying to accomplish. If you are looking to get a video to go viral and get you a surge of traffic then you want to go with views and comments. Both of these can get you on the front page of YouTube.

That is basically the one hit wonder approach and there is a fair chance your account will get banned.

However if you are looking to post lots of videos and make a flow of traffic you want to build a friend list.

This is just like your email list and is a good way to go and get a nice chunk of views on your new videos or even to a site / promotion. Not to mention if your video / promotion is worth while they will share with their friends and so on. Thus making it viral.

comment on videos based on keyword search and add links to your site where you take them to a squeeze page promising some related freebie and then hit em on the backend with upsells

I go with comments and favorites as people don't really like me and friends are hard to come by. =)
