Is doing this on Twitter going to be dangerous?
I have been thinking about purchasing some Twitter accounts, just a few, that have a good number of followers. Obviously purchasing them they will have already been created from different IPs, however, I have read a couple places here on BHW that Twitter will actually pinch a grumpy if you are logging into them from the same IP even if they weren't created from the same IP. True? False?
I have a normal Twitter account that is just for personal use, no advertising, just my friends and whatnot, but will purchasing accounts and logging into them from my same IP jeopardize all of them including my normal account?

I have three Twitter accounts (personal, bidness, and other) and don't have any issues with logging in. In fact, the Twitter app I use on my iPhone supports multiple accounts, so I don't think it is an issue unless you're using them in unsavory ways.

Well I intend to use them for marketing purposes, non-adult, so hopefully that isn't considered too unsavory.

If you keep the number of tweets and DM's you're sending out daily reasonable, you're probably okay.

Twitter doesn't mind if you have multiple accounts, it all comes down to how you are using them.
I am personally gearing up to do a massive Twitter marketing method but I am about a few months away from pulling it off. I have a lot more to program.

I don't think operating on multiple twitter accounts from same ip will be a problem. I have been operating on some 100's of accounts and no problem seen till now.

Twitter is nice if you only have 10 accounts in one IP, I tried 20 accounts on the same IP and they suspend all my accounts.

Re: Is doing this on Twitter going to be dangerous?
As part of my consulting business, I manage Twitter accounts for a lot of clients. Most of them were created by them (so they were created on different IPs), but I log into all of them from time to time from my IP.
Like others have said, it pretty much boils down to how you are using them.

Re: Is doing this on Twitter going to be dangerous?
Twitter and its Bitly URL shortener are a joke. We've created 1,677,769 phony clicks (for the purpose of our legit Twitter: The Dark Side Case Study and for that purpose we've used 20 accounts, from the same IP, bombarding Bitly quite a lot
After a few months working on that study MHO is that they do not give a flying frigg about anything i.e. legit analytics or putting all those bots that are swarming there in order.
