I keep getting automatically outbid...

I keep putting a bid on a site, and every time i do, another persons bid automatically goes $5 over mine....how did they do this?

ohh ok, so anytime somebody posts a bid, it only shows the minimum amount that it needs to go up...for example if it is 200 dollars and i have to bid at least 205 to get it, if i bid 250, it will only show 205 until someone surpasses 250.

Yep. Flippa is similar to eBay in that respect. Bids go up in larger increments as bidding gets higher so it's not always $5. If someone else has set their top bid to be higher than yours, you will continuously be outbid until it hits your highest bid.
