    Default UK resident and Escrow.com

I have a website listed on Flippa which has a BIN of $3500. I have received a PM from someone wanting to use escrow to pay. I'm from the UK and have never used escrow so, did some research and found a ton of horror stories on people getting scammed out of their sites using Paypal charge-backs and a few involving escrow. Escrow seems the much better option but, I'm a little worried on how these guys pay. I have received cheques from the US Amazon before and my bank took the piss by removing a fair chuck for admin fees due, to it being in US dollars.

Just got an email back from escrow stating:

"We disburse fees by wire transfer or check. Unfortunately, we are only able to disburse in USD."

My site is making me a nice amount each month (£120) without me lifting a finger and has been doing so for over 6 months now. I'm really close to just removing the auction.

Does anyone from the UK have any experience with escrow.com?

Don't use Paypal, their fees are much higher than Escrow and you have ZERO protection.

What's wrong with Escrow? They will just wire the cash to your bank. Depending on your bank, it will probably cost you around 2% to change the money. It's not bad at all (yes, I am in the UK). Don't ask for a check.

I have removed the Paypal option now and will use escrow instead. Thanks for the advice.
