What are the easiest sites to create and sell?
Hi,. I was just wondering what are the easiest sites to create and sell?
even if they only go for $100-$300 a pop instead of $$$$
and also what ones sell best when only a few days old and have no revenue stream? thanks.

Re: What are the easiest sites to create and sell?
Easiest sites to sell are ones that use pre-build CMS's like Wordpress etc...
These types of website take a matter of hours to put together and can be flipped relatively quickly - I call this method "InstaFlips" - i will be putting together a step by step method for my method, it is a 5 part method and i am in the process of writing it. Once i have finished it i will let people know in this section so they too can profit from my InstaFlips method.

Nice I'll look forward to it.

Wordpress + decent themes + wprobot (plugin) on a half decent domain are the easiest to build, once you learn the plugin.
Selling them... Well i know ppl that sell those sites but personally i wouldnt touch one with a barge pole as the are hard to rank and prone to deindexing.
I would buy a site with 5 pages of original content.
If you pump its pr with craplinks you would get more for it.

I would say gambling sites, they are easy to create and then sell.

I think dating and money making niche sites are more attractive for buyers.

If you're talking about statistically what niche sells and is most profitable on Flippa then maybe you should take a look at this Flippa Blog post -

From those stats you might want to focus on sports websites earnings via advertising...

Re: What are the easiest sites to create and sell?
Carlx - I look fwd to your write-up on Insta-flips.
In the mean time, just a couple of quick questions for anyone that has sold sites (I am planning to sell my first one next week, so any help is much appreciated
)
1. Do you always sell on Flippa or use any other sites?
2. For how long do you list the auction for? I once listed a domain name on flippa for a 9 day auction, and saw no bids for the first 7-8 days.
3. Do you promote your auctions on Flippa (getting the home page listing, etc.)?
Any other tips and suggestions would be great. Just btw, the site I am planning to list is approx. 3 weeks old, is a clickbank affiliate site with product reviews and original content, very little traffic and no revenue (just to give some context to my questions).

Re: What are the easiest sites to create and sell?
1. I always sell small sites on Flippa - i tend not to sell bigger sites unless buyers approach me, which has happened a few times and when this does happen it is a private transaction.
2. For my "InstaFlips" method i list for 3 days (InstaFlip implies instantly flipping but flippa minimum term is 3 days)
3. If the site i am selling is one of my InstaFlips then i don't feature it unless i expect it to sell for over $1000 (which for instaflips is rare as the real money gets made on the backend and the actual auction is to get the buyers toes wet before i drop kick him into the deep end and sell him over priced extra's...)
My only true peice of advice for a quick flip like the one your planning is "Sell The Dream" - its a new site, with no income or traffic - you need to convince potential buyers to bid with an alluring and confident sales pitch!
Sell the dream dude! - Good luck, if you want more advice on anything specific then ill try to assist.

Read the small print. Flippa are only talking about sites that sold for over $5k (around 2% of their sales), which is not what you are talking about with "insta flips".
If your quick flipping, you should ONLY focus on niches that are hot NOW. So it used to be Facebook fans, Twitter followers etc and it changes regularly. Stay ahead of the competition and I'm sure it can still be profitable.

Ah my mistake for not noticing the small print! - Still an insightful read for longer term projects if you like statistics.

Re: What are the easiest sites to create and sell?
As a seller on flippa I am always looking at what the current trend is and what sites people have more success in selling. Turnkey sites are sold alot of flippa and by doing some simple research you can see what sells well.
http://flippaleaderboard.com/ will tell you who the top earners are, which sellers have sold the most sites, average sale price and alot of other information.
